Gee, tough race. Gai Waterhouse has Pheidon engaged. On pace horse which should be suited at Ascot. 13/1 both totes, worth a bit, maybe.

“King William” Pike strikes again! Piloted Real Love to lead all the way to win the Perth Cup. Real Love appeared vulnerable in the straight but dug deep & found another gear to draw away & win by 1˝ lengths. Real Love has now won 5 races from 13 starts, total prize money $ 623,810. The Adam Durrant-trained mare could be tried on the eastern coast sometime in the near future.
