Default Rounds 35 & 36

Round 35 will have 11 matches and round 36 will have 14 matches to make up the remaining five postponed matches.

Good luck with round 34.

Default EPL Round 35

Thanks to Fatcat for speaking up. I had uploaded Round 35 but something happened to the page.

Round 35 has 11 matches while 36 will have 14. Most of the teams will be playing without the normal one week before and after a match so most fixtures will be congested..

Good luck with Round 35. I will send out Round 36 next week.

Sorry for the confusion. I am not sure what happened to my original post.

Default EPL Round 36

Round 35 was a perfect example of why I caution staying away from weeks with congested fixtures. The fraction of draws doubled. Of the 8 non-drawn matches, favourites only won 4.

Round 36 has 14 matches, starting tomorrow, so nearly every team will be involved in congested fixtures.

Cheers,

Default EPL Round 37

To return to a theme from last week, the last two rounds have been perfect examples of why you should stay away from rounds with congested fixtures. In Rounds 35 and 36 there were 8 draws, as many as the previous 9 weeks combined. The favourites won only 50% of the games not drawn, compared to 73% for the rest of the season.

Fortunately, the last two rounds have the normal pacing as we watch the titanic struggle between Man City and Liverpool. It’s City’s to win.

Good luck,

Ray Stefani

Default EPL Round 38

It was great to have a week without congested fixtures. Instead of my favourites only winning half the non-drawn matches as in rounds 35 and 36, they won 7 of 8 in round 37. Value bets for Crystal Place and West Ham both cashed.

That rocket shot by Kompany gave Man City the win they needed to be able to grab the premiership with a win in round 38. If Kompany had been off target, the Premiership would have been Liverpool’s to win. All 10 matches kickoff at the same time for round 38. Should be an anxious time.

Good luck with our last EPL week and with the year to come.
