If your horse can't handle the wet, wouldn't bother heading to the UK to race. Regardless of the season. Heavy rainfall & thunderstorms not uncommon in the summer months, from what I have been told.

Got $8 early betting on Ortensia, pleasantly surprised considering the field looked a little below the race standard
