Trip west for Expunge for the Perth Cup highly unlikely following his poor performance to run 7th when a heavily backed favourite at Sandown last Saturday. IMO was going to be a waste of time anyway

Expunge's 3rd at Sandown 2400 in Nov was a top effort, best performance to-date imo, don't know what happened the weekend, most disapointing!!

Good to hear that the duck will be back home next week after an impressive riding stint in Macau. One of my favourite jocks so look forward to his return!
