Hi Guys,,a few thoughts for tomorrow..

Kembla
Ledger , StyxnDaggers , Radetzky March.

Thought Ledger a good bet especially with the claim and alley ..likes the track and should be improved 2nd up and lead these comfortably..the toppy the danger..did get well beatn in a trial but that fluffy can run and hawksey never lets them do to much anyway...good exacta race.
StyxNDaggers flew home last start..had my hard earned on that day so i'll back it up again...hopefullly at double figure odds,,i think the distance rise suits him down to the ground as does Purton..
Radetzky should be winning ..wont take anything ridiculous but looks very well suited here...Pentelikon and Lady frisco to add some value to the exotics..

Ipswich
Sweet Ransom again for me...had alot on them last start ..this is harder but i still think shes to good for them...Commercial Dane and Lightning hill will look good 100m out but Sweet Ransom with Colles on board will reel them in..
heaps of speed in this race....colless to good a horseman to get involved in it ..Mr Sportsman the biggest danger as he'll get the tempo to suit as well.. ...
won't take anything short...but i'm very confident.

Murray Briddge
Cabernet Now e/w...this trainer has a knack of getting his horse ready first up....keep a close eye on betting here as its a betting stable.....the family has been good to me so i cant help myself...maybe atleast a slab e/w..

thats it from me...Hope to get a price about Sweet Ransom, Ledger, Radetzky March....and nice e/w odds about Styx....otherwise theres always tomorrow
Good luck all.

Hey Mav, Kembla pretty wet and no chance of upgrade I would think, you think styx can run on in the wet?

I normally just stick with Saturday Metro races, but I reckon Platinum Dane is worth an each way bet in the 1600m Listed Race 7 at Kembla Grange. It came 2nd (beaten by .1 length) at it's only 1600m race last start, and is now down 2.5kg since that effort. K. O'Hara is on board, and she's gotten a first and second with her previous 2 rides. Platinum Dane's record at Kembla Grange is pretty good with a first and a couple of seconds with her 3 previous races there, and overall she's placed in all 5 of her starts. Granted it is a big step up in class from a Class 3 to a Listed, but you would think the $41 fixed odds on offer at IAS justifies a small each way bet. I might also have a go on O'Perfect One and Fancyfree.

Good luck today.

Well i was right when i said i'd be struggling to get a price about my runners today and was very lucky i didnt.,,
I still took StyxnDaggers though , was a query in the wet but i was so taken with his last run and there was money around for it ..
havent seen the run ..only heard it on the radio..dont know what happened..

Had a good go at the tri and 1st 4 with Radetzky's race ...bombed out..
Had another go at Sweet Ransoms race with a good result..Too short to back her so the best result was Mr Sportsman winning ..made the exacta pay very nice indeed..
(Going ok with my new exacta bank) also got 1/2 the tri (thanks to my inside barrier runner ) and 1/4 of the 1st 4 so in the end nothing flash but i'm still treading water

Shouldnt of taken notice of the tote with Styx..usual rule is not to take them if they havent been proven in the wet and i wanted atleast 10's and didnt get it..2 good reasons not to back him......silly silly boy..

The Weetwood tomorrow...I'm a Tellem fan usually but the barrier and jockey worry me,, hes to tough not to be in the finish somewhere.....I thought Diurnal's run the other day was huge..made a stack of ground and didnt have it easy during the run Rics also developing a good understanding of the horse.....Mitanni was also impressive...
Messian did well after racing wide most of the way also..
these look the top 4 for me..
I'll be looking for value and leaning towards Diurnal e/w,, Hawkesy obviously targetted this race for him.. ....but the weetwoods always a good race for the exotics.theres always a bolter that gets up for 3rd or 4th...i'll be going wide with the 4 mentioned..

Anabasca in the scamper has speed to burn...looks to quick for them but i'd doubt a price..

Good luck guys

5 front runners 5 winners at Toowoomba today...
cant back Diurnal now as i think he'll get to far back....warming to Messian now as he'll get the best run behind Steel cap and Hard to catch...tellem might be alittle wide as he'll try and lead but theres a few quicker than him today..

Messian for the win.../ field tri..
and Messian /2,4,5,7,10,11,18 for a 1/2 for the 1st4

also a multi tri 1,5,10/2,4,7/field 1/2
and a muli 1st4 1,5,10/2,4,7/6,11,18/8,14 1/4
Bit of fun today with only the one race...feeling confident

2 stake bet on the one race which is fairly open..must need my head examined.....
go messian
