Thumbs up THE AGE CLASSIC - Cheers In_retrospect

(7) STRATUM looks the best of the 3YOs. Did all the work in front in the L’Oreal and only beaten 0.3L. Queen Of The Hill who should have won that race now has to concede Stratum a further 3kg in this whilst the winner of the L’Oreal Jet Spur got a nice cushy run in the slipstream.

(6) GLAMOUR PUSS was placed behind straight tracker specialist Falkirk then good win (Salinger) up the straight last start.

(5) TAKEOVER TARGET has been plagued with injuries so wether he can recapture the form that saw him win his first 7 races is problematical. Nothing wrong with first-up effort in Salinger when loomed up to win, but his condition gave out over the last bit.

Read your summary Saturday and it convinced me to invest a little on this race even though I normally stick to WA races. Nice result too. Tri in WA paid $269.30. The quinella and exacta also paid well. Thanks for your input In_retrospect it certainly steered me into a profit.

Smile One for the irish!

Geez I'm sure if some of the regulars to this thread were investing at Mt. Barker today they would have had something on the winner of the last. Brings a smile to the dial just thinking of some of his posts. If you're still keeping an eyes on things at this forum irish, hope you're travelling well

Grasspatch Girl also had the honour of winning that race that Miss Andretti was sensationally withdrawn from at the barrier when MA was deep in the red.
