A bot is simply automating a manual strategy.
A bot doesn't mean you will win, even inbuilt strategies have their flaws. If a manual strategy works over the long term, a bot simply is unattended betting, so you can run your stategy without having to manually submit bets for every race.

Yep, a bot can be a wonderful way to slowly but surely empty a betfair account, with little or not input from that savvy account holder, other than topping up funds as required...
