Surprised to spot BESWINGING (R2 Ascot today) over in the west but even more surprised that he’s campaigning through the warmer months i.e. good tracks. Don’t get me wrong has shown some ability in the past but hasn’t done much for over a year and all five wins have been in dead – heavy going. I’d being watching for a glimpse of form before putting my hard earned on.

Spot another from the east in your penultimate today – ROYAL JADE. Only lightly raced she’s done most of her racing in SA but did win at Sandown back in Jan (remember cause I backed her ) 3 starts at 1200 for 3 wins. Has had a short break but normally goes very well fresh. Worth including!

I think somebody mentioned on this thread a couple of weeks back that Fighting Fox races in Kingston Town colours BUT even more interesting (to me anyway ) is that Fighting Fox's mum (Fimmel Fox) must have been a bit of a flirt cause listed as the sire of Fighting Fox is Eternity Range OR Speed Week
