Post Belmont 8

The Crimson Medal 1200M

1 Mordor 9 57 Shaun Mc Gruddy
2 Tribal Warrior 3 56 Stephen Miller
3 Talbot Bay SCRATCHED
4 On Our Metal 2 54 Troy Turner
5 Overmaster 12 54 Patrick Carbery
6 Rue The Storm 4 53.5 Paul Harvey
7 Danglememagic 8 53 Kevin Forrester
8 Our Whisper SCRATCHED
9 Rubimaya 7 53 Jason Brown
10 Shecky Palace 5 53 T. Ikenushi
11 Uncle Graham 1 53 Jason Whiting
12 War Pak SCRATCHED
13 Wild Frankie 10 53 William Pike

Going for a bit a value with Rubimaya a maiden with a bit of promise who a couple of starts back pushed Attadale who has since won at Belmont from On Our Metal and Rue The Storm (not much between these two) and seeing it’s the 'get out stakes' chuck in the topweight Mordor.

WELL what can we say? A fantastic effort to miss the start settle a clear last circle the field from the 600m extremely wide and still finish on their hammer!!

THEN was sensationally scratched after the race with stewards ruling he was not afforded a fair start!!

BUT (wait a minute there's more) he now still needs to qualify for a start in the Melbourne Cup!!!

AND after all that I DIDN'T back the winner! PHEW!!

Good old Paul Harvey.

yeh the Harvey factor very common on our tab obviously he has the same effect nation wide
swings and roundabouts can work in your favour (laying him) sometimes
