A bit of Mt Magnet Cup trivia for you – the win by Frappe on Saturday (leading all the way so I’ve been told) gave trainer Kevin Mahoney his 3rd Mt Magnet Cup in a row.

Read similar report. Seems for real and not any hullabaloo.

Mr Celebrity is surprisingly short for a horse who from memory hasn't raced beyond 1600. I know he has exceptional group form and I know Gai's a top trainer but jumping from 1600 to 2400!? Fantastic effort if he can do it!!

Malwood beat the top weight in this race easily in the Meekatharra Cup and not enough weight turnaround to suggest a different result. Former eastern states galloper Why The Long Face won the Moora Cup in solid fashion and will be fitter for that run. Frappe and Millington Man to fight it out for the minor end of the purse.

Can be messy stuff that puddin’! Perhaps Malwood had too big a helping JUST B4 the race

The Sorrento 1000M

1 High Authority 6 57 David O'Heare
2 Deltamaster 7 56 Brad Parnham

Arrow GEELONG CLASSIC

11 PRESENTING
2 GALLANT GURU
3 DESTINY'S DAY
6 MCCLOUD

Hard to line up the form but Childs will give the west aussie Destiny's Day every chance and he should at least run a place
