Took on the leader Dee Picked for most of the race fought on well to finish 3rd. Will benefit from that run. Winner Homme looks an impressive type.

Akheson and Blind Decision (1st), Kim Silver and Fields Of London (2nd), Felikety Split (3rd), Embassy Force (6th), Wungong Song and Zems Devil (7th), Stone Man and Rose Of Somerset (8th) make up the grey brigade at Northam tomorrow

The Gray Bear looked pretty good in winning his first city start and according to the commentator was ridden differently to his normal way of racing!
