SPRING TIPPING COMP 2023

We will all be tipping against each other for the next 10 weeks from this Saturday, Aug 26, through to Oct 28. Then, the final series will be on the first three Saturdays in November.

Please read the rules as there's a difference in the staking this year.

RULES

1. Of the 10 weeks during the preliminary rounds, you must tip on at least 8 of them. You are allowed to miss 2 weeks. No more. People will have to start tipping by Sep 9 or they miss out.

2. You can post anywhere between 3 and 15 selections each week.

3. You can bet anywhere between $100 and $300 each week. The leading tipsters are judged on % profit, not the total amount of profit. So betting more overall won't give you a better chance. But you can change the amount you bet from week to week depending on your confidence.

4. You can tip at any Australian or New Zealand TAB gallops meeting on Saturdays.

5. On each selection, you can bet anywhere between $10 and $50 in multiples of $5. You can have any combination of win only or win and place, but you can't bet place only. As long as your total bet adds up to $10, $15, $20, $25, $30, $35, $40, $45, or $50.

6. Calculating your return: I will be using the closing tote and fixed odds prices on the Qld Tab and you will get whichever is the highest.
