Default Simply the best

I'm not a great believer of selection systems..me i like to put in the time infront of the video and form and do my own ratings..
But i do have a friend who claims astronomical figures by Simply backing horses who have been duel nominated or nominated for the next day.
Obviously hes taken into account the trainer or owner doing there own indepth form study and finally chosing the race that suits...
His only filters are ,No maidens (obviously) ,performed on the track and at the distance..

he doesnt take horses that might have been scratched because of bad barriers or track conditions .

might pay to have a look at this and see how it performs....seems to simple to me

Maverick,

Thats a good angle. I'll keep tabs on it. RaceNet has a facility to follow dual nominees if I remember correctly.

I like the filters as well.

Thanks for the heads up

Good Luck.

Smile WESMIP1

Another dead giveaway is when they replace a mediocre rider with a top class jockey.
i.e "joe Bloggs of woop woop with G.BOSS etc

Cheers.
darky.

I'd be looking at the filters a little more closely though...i highly doubt he would of given me every angle he uses
i know i wouldn't..

I think the only reason he told me that was because i give him heaps about his methods...especially as i got lucky yesterday and had a few to many celebratory drinks...he also has another about 1st uppers not trialling and betting moves or something..i'm still trying to get more on that one..
(hmm he did back Socialist yesterday as did alot of smart money) ran on well but got to far back,,,might be something in that..

by the way..he doesnt work , owns the good car, boat , house , and is only 38
..and betting for 9 years...must be doing something right....
hard not to listen to someone whos been going for that long.....

Hi Mav! been following this for more years than I care to remember. Even wrote my own programme to search out double nominations, no longer needed, you can get them free on the net now.
Problem is, most of the time it has nothing to do with the trainer selecting the most suitable race.
Strange as seems, even with the number of races we have nowadays, some horses can't get a run in the most suitable races.
Secret is, to find where the trainer had a hand in the switch!!! And pounce!!!
When you do, let me know? please???
Cheers

Must be a way to find out the order of selection (weights)for these nominated races and then work it out from there.
