Last 10 Runs
This was a method Mark put forward maybe 10 years ago.
Selections is those horses that have not won a race for the last 10 starts, i can't remember if there was a max price but just looking at todays runners we had 53 runners, laying the win had 98% strike rate, laying the place had a 77% strike rate. I won't have the profits until later but there was a profit.

Was that the one where the horse hadn't won in the last 10 runs and/or the past year? That is, it may have only had 8 runs, or whatever in the past year but hadn't won any or 10 runs within a year.
There were other factors as well, opening lower in the betting than pre post price being one. Going from memory so may be not 100% correct. |

What about all the horses that have run 2nd or 3rd by less than a length last start, I'm not sure I'd be laying those.
