Are there any league punters out there?

I'm not, well not yet anyway.

But I have come up with a rating method which I wish to publicly test. I have no idea how it will go and I must stress I will NOT be backing these selections nor would I suggest anybody else do so. I simply believe that the best way to test it is to hang it all out in public and expect the worst.

Each week I will endeavour to post the bets for the weekend and will track the results here. I will use the straight ratings only with no personal thoughts to select the bets, however if this is still going come origin time I reserve the right to leave alone matches involving teams missing key players.

Any comments from anybody, constructive criticism included, would be welcome.

Three of these winners were not favourites and in fact were not even my selection but were over the odds. At this stage it is far to early to have any idea about the merits of this.

Couple of roughies here that are by no means my selection to win the match but represent good value by my ratings. We'll see how they go.
