Post Lay betting

I want to back a horse with a bookie and then lay it on betfair.

Is this a good thing.

Only if you can back at better odds than you lay Benny, which is certainly possible at times.

& of course there is the issue of these 'bookmakers' restricting or cutting you off if you are any good at what you are doing.

Hi Benny,

You can back it on Betfair and lay it off during the race for a profit either way.

SpeedyBen seems to be the officiado in this aspect of racing.

Hi Benny
You don't get a lot of opportunities where the difference in price is enough to cover the BF commission if you are placing both bets at th same time.

Ask Mark about backing with the bookies and laying on betfair, he will give you the short answer.
