Default Big Bets this weekwere winners

Are big punters good to follow ? The problem of only knowing this bet is you don't know what other bets they also put on with this to hedge. It could be an arbitrage bet even.

$9000 @ $1.33 Chelsea to beat Newcastle (EPL round 25) - WON
$6300 @ $5.50 Perth Scorchers (Big Bash winner) - WON
$5000 @ $2 Rubick (BD Prelude C&G) - WON
$1500 @ $2.75 Brisbane Roar to beat Western Sydney - LOST

It seems this week the TAB lost quite a few of there big bets.

Question

I thought our whitewash of the English was due to their poor batting and thought we would get smacked against quality opposition such as the Proteas, are we better than i thought or will they come back to beat us 2-1? or is it just the Mitch factor?

No chance unless MJ goes down - 3zip Aussies, Proteas are still in shock & probably will be for sometime

I had to sit with half a dozen Sth Africans for the first half a dozen overs. They were gloating so much it was nauseating so I did the polite thing and left. (turn the other cheek thing) When I got home and tuned in again, I nearly went back.

They were in disarray during the Aussie second innings and they had the same look in their eyes as the Poms did after Brisbane. What a difference an express bowler can make. 39 wickets since November for MJ.
Adding Doolan and Marsh for Bailey ( out of his depth ) and Watson ( inj ) stiffened up the batting. If they replaced Rogers with Watson they would be better again but I doubt they'd do it.

When weather is not a factor backing the draw in tests is close to the worst mug bet there is. I've been laying the draw in every test for years.
