Default Laying the Field Pt 2

Following on from my previous post, re laying the field in SP races. I manually removed all non SP races from the week 8th-14th Oct 2012 and nett profit ($100 liability) dropped from $1964 to $759. Big Drop!!! And that was a winning week.
Cheers RP

I've been looking for a way to lose money to a bookie. Given these stats would backing the fav in maiden races be the best way to go?

Hi The Ocho,

Due to the comments from Beton, UB and Riconpaul regarding the shorter end of the maket, it might pay to keep records of qualifying selections that start higher, like $5.01-$20 / $20.01-$40 etc.

Mmmm, no good today. For some reason the bot fired off two bets in the first race with the fave winning the race. I'll count both although the result should be around $5 worse actually.

Full Market Name Selection Bet Type Amount Price Profit And Loss
13:47 R1 1300m Mdn\9. Maughan 9. Maughan Lay 5 3.2 -11
13:47 R1 1300m Mdn\11. Film Star 11. Film Star Lay 5 3.4 5
14:00 R1 1000m Mdn\1. Toshinaga 1. Toshinaga Lay 5 4.1 5
14:10 R3 1200m 3yo\2. Chow Meow 2. Chow Meow Lay 5 2.02 5
15:20 R5 1400m Mdn\4. Northern Edge 4. Northern Edge Lay 5 3.65 -13.25
16:41 R2 1207m Mdn\10. Tribal Cat 10. Tribal Cat Lay 5 4.8 5

Not sure it's worth shifting those rocks around the garden.

I'll check on the others tonight TS to see what is happening with those.

Today -5.22 (4 winning lays from 6 bets)

Total for $5 lay bets -2.84 Including Commission
13 Lay bets
9 Winning lays
4 Losing lays

Checking the two days results hasn't really revealed anything too much as yet TS but the stats so far to lay all are (for $1 level lay amount no comm):
$5-$20 = -20
$20.50-$40 = +8

Picks for Wednesday if they are fave and in the price range of 1.90-5.00:

Toowoomba
1- 13
2- 1 3 5 7 8
3- 1 5

Townsville
3- 2

Muswellbrook
1- 8
2- 6 15
4- 3 6 7

Traralgon
1- 6 10
2- 7 9
3- 5 7 9 10 12

I'm dropping this one. As Gordon Gekko would say - it's a dog with fleas. As a matter of fact I'm not quite sure what the point of this system was as it is basically laying maidens which just missed out last time out and they're faves or nearly faves with the price range this time out.

Geez I'm gullible.

Results today only two races with one loss - total loss today -9.25

Full Market Name Selection Bet Type Amount Price Profit And Loss
13:18 R2 1000m 3yo\6. Supreme Bella 6. Supreme Bella Lay 5 3.85 -14.25
14:10 R3 1900m Mdn\5. Prince Valiant 5. Prince Valiant Lay 5 3.45 5

Total for $5 lay bets -12.09 Including Commission
15 Lay bets
10 Winning lays
5 Losing lays

For TS
$5-$20 = -12.3
$20.50-$40 = +8 (only 8 picks)
