Unstable,
Thanks for the reply and explanation. I like your idea to determine the strength/quality of the race

Here is a Good example of Race Strength, Sat 9/4/2022, Werribee R4
I use a gap of 4. If the average hcp in a BM58 is 54, then I back all horses that are 4+ above the Average up to 4 horses.
Code:
TRACK RN TN FORM HORSE HCP RESULT WIN PLC
WERRIBEE 4 1 8375 Larrikin 58 2ND 1.25
WERRIBEE 4 2 38x7 Latin Beat IRE 58 WON 35.4 5.9
WERRIBEE 4 3 40x4 Rivivy Kenz 57
WERRIBEE 4 4 4532 Langworthy NZ 56 3RD 1.61
WERRIBEE 4 5 32x0 Hesontherun 55
WERRIBEE 4 6 x124 Aeroette NZ 58 4TH
WERRIBEE 4 7 2547 Big Darryl 54
WERRIBEE 4 9 x707 Montaser NZ 50
WERRIBEE 4 11 3769 Time Of Glory 40 22.9
AVERAGE 54
Tab number 1,2 and 6 are 4 above average, I would Dutch those 3 horses.
