Just proves (as I'm sure a lot of fellow forumites are already aware) that nothing beats race fitness, no matter how much better you really are, especially if racing first-up over a bit of ground. Not one of Paul's better rides, and was surprised he got as close as he did. IMO this race had the makings of a 'no-bet' race. A lot of punters got burnt.
