Something a bit different this time...

(Firstly, this is all Covid-19 dependent. At this stage, it appears that racing will keep on going through all this, so we should be okay)

Here's how the comp works. We will all be tipping against each other over 3 months (August, September, October) to find the tipsters who will go head to head in the finals. The top 2 tipsters at the end of August automatically get a spot in the finals, then everybody goes back to zero and we start over again to find the top 2 tipsters for September and again they go straight to the finals, then the same again for October. In theory, there can be anywhere from 2 people to 6 people in the finals. Once you've qualified, no reason to slacken off as the better you do over multiple months, the better your chance in the finals.

RULES

1. You are allowed to miss just one Saturday during the month.

2. You can post anywhere between 3 and 15 selections each week.

3. You can bet anywhere between $60 and $300 each week. The leading tipsters are judged on % profit, not the total amount of profit. So betting more won't give you a better chance. But you can change the amount you bet from week to week depending on your confidence.

4. On each selection, you can bet the following amounts:

$5 ew
$10 win
$10 ew
$20 win
$15 ew
$30 win
$20 ew
$40 win

5. You can tip at any Australian TAB gallops meeting on Saturdays.


Calculating your $ return:

I will be using the closing tote and fixed odds prices on the Tab and you will get whichever is the highest.
