Funny how yesterday I made a positive step towards upgrading security of the cash in my Betfair account. That prompted me to look at bolstering all my password security for all the sites I use. So I research the topic Password Vaults, as in apps that generate, hold and allegedly protect all your passwords with encryption. I check all the reviews out and settle on one product. My thought bubble went along the lines of, "Onya, you're doing the right thing here, and it's about time!"

I was just about to commit and googled the product again. "Whaaat!"... Security Notice 11 hrs ago: The company's servers have just been hacked
This company's has 76 million users and their email addresses and encrypted passwords were compromised in a breach.

Where does this leave any of us? These people specialize in encryption and look what happens. New thought bubble, "How safe is my money, no matter where it's parked?"
