Vale Doriemus
As per racenet:
"A paddock accident has claimed the life of the 1995 Caulfield and Melbourne Cup winner Doriemus, who was euthanised on Sunday.
The 24 year-old suffered a foot injury at Victoria's Living Legends, where he was one of the original lodgers in 2006, and was unable to be saved.
The best runner sired by Norman Pentaquod, Doriemus won nine of his 44 races and earned $3,588,412, first trained by Jim Gibbs and then Lee Freedman."
