What happened to this horse Chrome Prince? I put a watch on him but haven't seen him come up (maybe I stuffed up the blackbook feature). |

Was going to ask the same question a little while back but then read somewhere it was out spelling |

Okay, thanks Sands. |
Yes, Ayton is out for a spell, I think either he has injured himself or team Hayes will debut him in Spring.
Not too sure which is which??? |
BUMP!!
This horse had its first run today at Benalla in a maiden (race 3) and won at $1.40 on the vic tab. I put a lazy $5 on it. Well done CP!! |
AYTON has been nominated in two upcoming race meetings:
13 Dec 19 MOONEE VALLEY Race 07 (Number 11) - 09:30 1200m - Dynamic Print Group (Bm64) 15 Dec 19 BENDIGO Race 09 (Number 9) - 05:35 1100m - Bertocchi (Bm64) I'm not sure which one he will be running in but currently is not scratched for MV. |
Scratched from MV and didn't run in the first 4 at Bendigo. Did my $5 cold.

Yes, I think that Ayton has injury problems, and that's why the previous long spell. He managed to win his first start back, but think he's injured himself again. The horse showed so much potential, it's such a pity that many horses with vey good potential are plagued with injuries.
|
Update on Ayton, the December failure and long time off after trial was because of this:
Vet cert required. Post race vet exam EIPH Grade 4. Trainer notified. An EIPH Grade 4 is the most serious bleeding attack a horse can have. It is much more than a little blood from the nostrils, it's usually rupture bleeding in the lungs or heart veins. He is not to race without a vet certificate. Such a pity, the horse had so much potential and David Hayes is a part owner. |
