SP and closing prices on BF
 

Where can I get the SP and closing back & lay prices for Betfair markets, in a single file? I know it's in the BF data files, but it's a pain in the neck to compile it.

CP does your database have this? Are there any other free or paid sources?

Frustrating hey? Been down this path. In the end Fred, whatever you get from their files is so inaccurate and full of inconsistencies, that it's not worth pursuing. You can buy the data all cleaned, but very expensive.

IMHO, you're better off setting a bot up to collect all this data at a predetermined trigger time, be it at official start time or x secs before or after. That way you've got a factual record of how you'll respond and operate in the future.

Hi RP, I actually have the data, collected from my bot, however I need to verify that I've collected it accurately by comparing it to an independent source. Don't mind paying for cleaned data. Main thing for me is that is that I can get it into a single file and quickly eyeball it side-by-side with my own data.

Need to go to Fracsoft then.

No Fred unfortunately it doesn't, because the data is too unreliable.
As suggested, Fracsoft is your only option.

Fracsoft have stopped collecting data. Anyway, from what I remember, you have to do a lot of work to get the data out.

I might just put it out there, if any other bot guys would also like to check the accuracy of their data, I'd be happy to extract my prices for June and do a swap.
