Trackwork info
Quote:
Did a search on trackwork, came up with this, not much help. In the old days, I would diligently review trackwork results in the papers each week (mainly for Tues & Thurs from memory) & take note in particular good work results for horses resuming or recently resumed or horses where recent form not that flash. Many a good priced winner or placing often followed. With the onset of the digital world & its free information I've lost touch with this factor. So, anyone on the forum know of, or use, trackwork results available online, free or paid. Thanks in advance. |
Also on the Horse Racing forum, not sure which is correct forum, trackwork was part of my system approach.

Thanks darky :) can get online from their website? |
Any of the race clubs provide online? Cheers
|
Not sure.
Worth a try as the Race Clubs go out of their way to help. Cheers |
Anyone on the forum look at recent trackwork results as part of their pre-punt considerations
Something the average punter would unlikely do |
I dont see the point myself as one never knows what weight their carrying.
I dont think the late Don Scott did either or any of the Proffessional services out there that I,ve come across. Email www.trb.com.au with a question .They are very helpful. As is Malcolm at inracing. Cheers darky |
Google thesportsman, they have trial and full trackwork reports.
|
Yep, the Sportsman looks the only option

Rhino82,
I used to follow the Trackwork in the sportsman, highlighted anything that ran Trackwork at above average speed (can't think of the benchmark i set anymore), then backed it if they ran before the following Monday. Used to get some good priced winners in Queensland, then the sportsman reduced the information on Trackwork, i couldn't find any other sources for Trackwork results. So i stopped. Despite what some punters think, there is something in this method Pete |
