Well Done Crash ..nice result today. .
Our boy Kev got up for me . payed less than i thought but i was happy enough with the 2.80.. Frisky Friso 3rd was a solid run considering...thought hed be leading from the inside but they went to hard out wide ... Only got the one tomorrow,, The Proffessional at Kilmore r8...races well at the track and distance is fine...ran a couple of good races last prep that caught my eye.....races better 2nd up and there doesnt seem to be much in the race....the two on top for the places, Good luck all :) |

Nothing wrong with $2.50 to $3.50 as a good bread and butter price range mav. I spend a lot of time around those prices :-)) The Professional might have a bit of bother at Kilmore beating Holmesa but certainly has a good chance here. r8/2 Holmesa (4) mid-pacer 56.54yo br g (D R Lawson at Flemington) M J Allen Ran a good 2nd. carrying 58 1/2kg. to Cica Cica last start and down a couple of kg. for this. Never won first up but 2nd. up: 4[2-1-0] and a win and a 2nd at 2 starts this distance. Also: CESSNOCK r4/5 Pants Man (7) mid-pacer 54.03yo b c (S J Gleeson at Muswellbrook) P Graham r7/4 Beautiful Bearing (4) mid-pacer 56.03yo br f (D P Smith at Broadmeadow) A Robinson Beadman's of the bush these 2 jocks and always worth looking very closely at anything they are riding. No luck for me today. the Kilmore bet was odds-on so didn't bother [lost]. Never seem to do any good at Cessnock [terrible track layout and there is even a dip to run through apparently]. At least mav's selection The Professional got up for 3rd. |

Holmesa was dissapointing...just didnt travel at all ...maybe something was up or it could have been that weird hill they have to climg up in the straight...but still finished ok.. Some good races around tomorrow...been raining alot in brissie ..would have to be slow at best.. |
Not sure of the track in Brissie but these look ok....would want a price though.
Zoe's Lad,,looks a class above them..havent a jockey yet and does need the speed on..will probably be to short to back anyway.. Wheel The Lead,,,will love the wet,,,battled on well on the worst part of the track last start.. Partying ,,,caught my eye last start..mad a stack of ground on the tight circuit...should be nice e/ws as theres some promising horses in this race.. Sydney Knot Now,,,been on this horse of late..did well last start and this looks suitable...wont taking anything short though.. Our Jetsetter...what a race this is,,,some real flashy potential topliners in this ...keep an eye on the Hawksy runner...but i do like this Our Jetsetter..really attacks the line and did very well after racing wide last start...e/w Melbourne Polyester Boy...i like this horse,,has been good to me,,,should be ready to fire tomorrow and the claim helps.. a couple others i didnt mind tomorow...Boomshaker,Regina desert and Charged ..all worth throwing in your tris.. Boomshakers run was huge last start,,,just a bit inconsistant .. Good Luck all....and go the aussies tonight in england :) |

Ipswich Spanish Tycoon....good run last start in the wet,,nicely bred,. Lightning Brown...another with good form..and wet form... Canterbury Rogems Gem..i like this horse..raced to keen last start...wet ok,,should be nice e/w's Bendy Lukes Turn..horse has ability..Sutton has taken on some decent races when hes eligible for easier...should be fit and ready for this... Canamble Stashed Away,,,has ability,,,looks well suited this race.. Casterton Acetate...big weight but looks better than these..inside barrier helps.. Desktop Magic...4th...weird result in this race.. Paris Flyer ...2nd (i'm blaming Jim for this one ;) ) Friscos Vision,,,1st.. Seems the best result i had today was with Lucky Phil ..in a race where i didnt rate or even looked at the form....I had Lucky Phil as a mention in my book as i liked his last start but his record just turned me off him ...me of little faith. Long wait till the big game tonight...having a sickie tomorrow ;) like probably most of the country ... |

*Umaprince,,,even with the weight looks way to good for these..doubt a price...very consistant horse.. *Browns Plains,,,has ability,,,,but might need it longer .. Muselbrook *Northfield Drive/Derby Parade / Ambiose/ Dusty Flyer ...in this order.. i'll be having a trifecta and 1st4 play with this race.. the top 2 rate clearly on top.. *Courtney's Report/West Royale/Dashound/Chevington/Just Delphic.... another race i'll be playing around with the multis only.. I like Northfield Drv but will need value to jump aboard.,,guessing Umaprince will be to short to back..not sure about Browns Plains guesing its wet up there and you'd think the breed will swim.....just might need another run but worth an e/w.. not a bad result in the 7th either. .. gave some back on Umaprince and a silly e/w on Browns Plains....but another win ...seems i've strung a few together....nice when lady luck smiles upon you...wish it smiled upon the socceroos... like a few for tomorrow ..still finalizing things.... well done Crash 50% ....good to see the thread throwing up a few good results. |

*Cambric / Bound to.....very solid win by Cambric last start and still has improvement...Bound to has been ultra consistant and did the job for me last start this is harder of course,, Sydney *Abruptions...loved his last run..led till the shadows and was on the worse part of the track..nicely weighted and i like this young jocks style.. *Bromide.....beadman kills a decent price though.. *Crique,,,didnt seem comfortable on the track last start but kept finding...i like this horse as he trys hard..distance suits....track ? Melbourne *Terre Tale...this filly caught my eye at Morphetville...shes a real flyer..and if Shinn can get her across in the lead she'll be hard to catch...check betting.. Strathalbyn *Honour Kate....hard to follow but she can run,,shes mixed it with open class sprinters on her day.....likes this track..should get nice e/w's.. Good luck all :) |

Not having much luck yet...Abruptions led to the shadows yet again and Terretale just average.... Bromide to short,,,(nice exacta 14.50 ??) still like Cambric and Crique.....also recieved some mail about Marenello Miss at Belmont...worth an e/w as hes a good judge.. Honour Kate still a hope and good value..even if all the support is for Chloe who was very impressive last start.. also Saxon seems to be getting out to backable odds...a bit of a nonwinner but you'd have to think king Of Soul is vulnerable down the long straight... |
King of Souls was vulnerable...Saxon just finds another way to get beaten :(

...and Appertain generally bobs up around 3rd or 4th run back from a spell, often on the back of some pretty ordinary runs. The 1500m and the wet track helped too...
