Hi Crash...yep no luck with Lunch at Frisco,,seems we were all on him today.. to much weight ,,never a chance,,

A few for tomorrow
Cantebury
Piculet/ Crique both at distance that suits..,,,finally..crique might be value

Doomben
Power City..
Bambu ...last chance for this horse,,,looks well suited against these
Partying...good run last start...consistant..barrier might give me a price,

Sandown
Tortuga...chance in the wet,
Fords Creek ...same...puts himself into a race...should be huge odds...

Good luck all :)

Svenvlad 6th June 2006 10:35 PM

G'day all,

Couple for tomorrow, from my brief look at the fields.

BR1 - Thought Captain Lightning was a good bet here. Stable have a good opinion of him, and he should have enough class to get away with this.

BR5 - Birthday Bash appears to be better than his opposition here. Most of them are getting on a bit and don't have much upside. Reckon BB will be too strong at the end.

Good luck,

Sven

Stix 7th June 2006 08:26 AM

Wednesday 7 June

Belmont R5-1 Kim Joy - Drawn wide again, but distance no problem
Canterbury R4-4 Sobraine - HAsn't started since Feb, when well supported and missed the kick to run 3rd
Sandown R5-6 Point of Call - Has Willams on board who seems to get the best out of this guy.

Good Luck...

Stix 7th June 2006 08:28 AM

Yesterday's omen bet was...

Glouster Park R6-6 Renounce (the devil ??) ........ paid 29.3 and 8.1

crash 7th June 2006 08:34 AM

Should be a good track in QLD I guess:

Probably right sven. about birthday bash in r5, but with you know who on board it's perhaps not a good bet and Viscay star just might upset the cart here at much better odds. I'm still betting 1x6 ew anyway.

Doomben
r4/8 And You (4) 53.03yo b g (R L Heathcote at Eagle Farm) J Byrne
r5/3 Viscay Star (8) 56.07yo b g (G A Ryan at Gold Coast) Matthew Palmer (a 2.0)
r6/4 Rapid Reason (NZ) (3) 56.04yo ch g (P Duff at Deagon) S Katsidis
r7/1 Shaycan Silver (3) 57.54yo gr m (M A Palmer at Beaudesert) S Katsidis

punts2 7th June 2006 08:40 AM

Good track Brissie :)

punts2 7th June 2006 08:42 AM

My tips Brissie :)

BR1 (1) MONO MAC, (4) CAPTAIN LIGHTNING
BR3 (11) BEAU VELOUR, (13) KILLIECRANKIE
BR5 (2) MATEY, (4) BIRTHDAY BASH, (8) UNITE AND PROSPER
BR6 (5) LINE BY LINE

crash 7th June 2006 04:31 PM

One of my 2 longshots [Viscay Star] got up for 3rd but with 3 scr. I just missed out on a nice place divvy. Rapid reason won at $5.80 so an ok day.

sticking with QLD tomorrow:
Ipswich
r6/3 Patti's Boy (9) 56.5 3yo gr g (R S Sutton at Gold Coast) S Katsidis
Bit of class on the rest. Eagle Street seems to be shaping up as a pro. place getter but Ivor Special has the speed and won at the distance [Colless too] but might set it up for P/Boy. Rin Tin is in it too so a hard race.

r7/4 Circus Maximus (7) 55.5 4yo b g (W L Ingram at Toowoomba) just beaten by Shreck last start first up. Better alley here and won 2nd up this distance with 57kg in a $50k maiden.

r8/2 Makeni (5) 55.56yo b m (Bill Abbey at Ipswich) I J French (a 3.0)

Good luck guys.

maverick1993 8th June 2006 12:17 AM

to many placings and not enough winners for me of late,,frustrating..
weekday figures are copping a hammering..

Hopefully i'll shake it off tomorrow at Ipswich
Nediyms Spirit ,,,has some ability,,watch betting
ValdeRoi,,fantastic run last start,,,has shown glimpses ,,
Rear Admiral...forget he went around last start,,,should have won by a mile
Clang edition .. looks a good race for him,,,

Gosford
Know Now,,,,hitting the line hard...distance suits..

Good Luck all :)

crash 8th June 2006 04:39 AM

I like that Rear Admiral too mav. Will be a different horse today but...anyway I'm betting on it being beaten which might be a mistake. Hope the track stays dry.

maverick1993 8th June 2006 09:06 PM

No luck today Crash...Clang Edition a good thing beaten,,,Knot now close but no cigar.......
a few for tomorrow..
Rocky
Devil/ Treasure the Kwilla ...a good race with heaps of chances..,,
Fastness....in great form...just out of luck,
Swan Hill
General Conclusion,,been a good horse for me..looks well suited here.
Lukes Turn...northerner who can run...down in grade and should be ready to show something
Grafton
Lord Nediym...local who just loves it here...doubt a price though...

Due for a win after a run of frustrating 2nds,,,fingers crossed :
Good Luck all..

If I had been smart, in my uncertainty for this race I would normally have had a couple of units on a 3 horse box exacta [I rarely do tri's]. Rin Tin won and then lost it to Ivor Special on protest [both around 9 or 10/1]. Exacta paid $145.50. Was I smart? No, I was having a dumb day. Pattie's boy spent the race covering an extra 100m wide.

Mr ed 9th June 2006 02:16 PM

Hey Mav, thought Luke's Turn was a spec today aswell. His last run was enormous he was only swallowed late and the winner Haddle Mcdaddle is pretty smart. Dropping from 1400 to 1300 looks right in his favour and i've just watched the last three winners at the Hill lead, i'm pretty confident we can have a win.

maverick1993 9th June 2006 10:01 PM

Hi Mr Ed ...Lukes Turn alot shorter than i expected ?? was that your money ?? ,,,still a sound 4th..
had a good day today with Lord Nediym and Treasure the Kwilla both good results...
General Conclusion/ Fastness keep up my ability to pick alot of placegetters..

Good to have a win after a frustrating week... :)

maverick1993 11th June 2006 06:56 AM

in a hurry..
Designer Cleo/ Triple Pe/Power Hunt and Polyester Boy ,,,they are all racing around the place today...all worth a looksy ..

good luck all :)

crash 11th June 2006 07:40 AM

Good to see a few punters come out on top yesterday.

Swan Hill sunday 11th june
2.20pm
r5/3 Tate Modern (10) 57.04yo ch g (J T Conlan at Cape Schanck) M Flaherty
2.57pm
r6/7 Wildwood Princess (9) 54.54yo ch m (S J Clifton at Seymour) B E Johns
3.32pm
r7/5 Al Tharb (7) 56.55yo ch g (M G Cornish at Echuca) N Rawiller

good luck.

crash 12th June 2006 07:23 AM

A $3.10 place getter and a scratching yesterday so a little profit and no damage.
Eagle farm looks a bit of a mess today so I'll go ew for Desert Master in the Cup for interest and a few in SA

r3/2 Crackers bid
r5/1 Jim's party
r6/6 On My Mind

Good luck.

maverick1993 12th June 2006 09:05 PM

Got two tomorrow both at Tatura both in 1980m races and both jumping from barrier 17
Cathy Come Home and Satu San...
Cathy has been one of my project horses..used to own her full bro...i'm sticking with her till she wins a race for me..i've got a few nice place gets on her but i'm the red now after her last 2 start losses.....(i did this with Lair,Grand Merlot, Petrolhead, Socialist ect ect)...i think this is a good race for her tomorrow...
Satu San is in great form..i think Crash picked this horse last time..good chance tomorrow...would want a price though..

Good Luck all :)

crash 13th June 2006 06:35 AM

I'm sacking Satu San today mav. Up 3 1/2kg. after last win and this lot is around the 10% win brigade which tend to go to that big soap-maker in the sky with still a 10% win rate. I don't think it's Satu San's turn again for awhile :-)

I'll go:
r8/13 Waveband (3) 54.54yo b g (P W Burgun at Wangaratta) J Anstice

crash 13th June 2006 10:51 AM

SCONE [dead]
4.03pm
R7/2 The Spit (7) 58.04yo b g (G A Ryan at Rosehill) J Penza

Much easier affair today with the same weight and better barrier.

crash 13th June 2006 04:02 PM

You weren't far off with Satu San mav. close up 2nd. A bit much weight but I wish I had backed it again instead of my longshot [sacked forever!] that had every chance and did nothing. The Spit cheered me up with a $5 easy win and Bendigo looks ok tomorrow.

Bendigo

r3/6 Skaters Waltz (4) 55.04yo ch m (D J O'Prey at Wodonga) B P Ward
r7/3 Dante's Best (9) 56.53yo b/br g (M J Ellerton at Flemington) M
Flaherty
r8/3 Prince Of Ruffy (4) 57.03yo b g (P G Moody at Caulfield) L Nolen

Cheers.

maverick1993 13th June 2006 10:10 PM

close up 2nd ?? no joy for me today,,,havent seen the replays yet,,,
like a few tomorrow,,taking it easy after a hectic long weekend..
Brissie
One for none, Rejuvanate Lass/AmberLodge, Roman Squire, Agrois..

All worth a looksy :)

Good Luck all.

crash 14th June 2006 04:31 AM

It was Mr. Zen who was close up 2nd. mav. not Satu San. Got them confused :-)

crash 14th June 2006 10:15 AM

A couple for Doomben that might do ok:

r7/13 Gold Gold Gold (6) 53.03yo br f (J P Wallace at Gold Coast) Matthew Palmer (a 2.0)
r8/8 Reflective (NZ) (4) 53.04yo b g (J R Hawkes at Eagle Farm) R Mc Mahon (a 1.5)

changed one at Bendigo so:
r3/7 Cica Cica (3) 54.54yo br m (Ricky Maund at Corinella) W Hernan (a 2.0)
r7/3 Dante's Best (9) 56.53yo b/br g (M J Ellerton at Flemington) M
Flaherty
r8/3 Prince Of Ruffy (4) 57.03yo b g (P G Moody at Caulfield) L Nolen

crash 14th June 2006 02:21 PM

Nice kick-off at Bendigo r3 with Cica Cica winning at $16.60 [stab].

mad 14th June 2006 04:15 PM

Nice one Crash. You're flying at the moment mate, onya'.

crash 14th June 2006 04:27 PM

Hi mad. Bit of a crash landing though. Thought doomben was 'good'. Silly mistake those 2 bets.

You were very unlucky mav. in the last. Agrois [3rd] was about 17/1 and I thought it had the race won.

crash 15th June 2006 10:10 AM

No much of a day for it.

Werribee Thurs. 15th.
r7/2 Aznavour (NZ) (6) 56.53yo b g (D T O'Brien at Flemington) S W Arnold

maverick1993 15th June 2006 10:46 AM

Hi Crash...yep another placing..going nowhere with my midweek betting..(Monday as a feature meet doesnt count) My saturdays and feature days are supplementing my midweek punts.....Overall i'm in the black so its not panic stations yet but if i continue the downward spiral i might just cut the amount of bets during the week to only super specials and then only if i've had time to rate the race thoroughly..

Lately i've been experimenting with new ratings that are quick and easy .and last week and this week only concentrating on bookers and stable runners....but it seems the less you put in the less you get......

Today I Like old Maizy May up north
and thought Lexington Steel a real good show at Hawksbury.....

i'd bet the house these 2 atleast place ;)

Good luck all

crash 15th June 2006 11:00 AM

How many bedrooms, and does it have a good view ?

maverick1993 16th June 2006 08:03 AM

Hi Crash..i get to atleast keep half the house..i'll live in the games room,,it has a bar and pool table. :)
Townsville, Snick
Grafton, Sircolo*/Lord Nediym/Hipwell/Ashbury (nice 1st4 and tri race)
Wanga, Spalding
Good luck all :)

crash 16th June 2006 12:16 PM

Good on ya mav. Looking for good weather tomorrow at Ipswich. It was 'slow' last week not 'dead' [according to the jocks] and closer to heavy by the later races. It's tough enough on punters without that rubbish going on [club worried about scratchings affecting the meeting].

Only 1 for me today:
Wang. R6/4 Hillston Exchange [if it doesn't win you can have the other half of your house back]:-))

Mr ed 16th June 2006 11:01 PM

Hi all, got a few bookers tommorow all rising from midweek class but have put in top efforts recently.

Emooki Street in the stayers race gets a lovely weight drop here and i think the field isn't overly strong (Taman Trader had every favour last start). Emooki has won at the track and distance last start when showed a terrific sprint at the end of his race, i think he's a lovely bet.

Roadhog, was just very unlucky first up at Bendigo when clutted up on the inside, bit of an enigma but he has a touch of class and meets a relatively weak field tommorow.

Platinum Place, last two at this course have been terrific, Note two starts back was beaten a head Centashani and beat home Gracious Curves easily looks top form now. She always puts in a big run and looks a good e/w chance tommorow.

Tend to agree with Mav about Clang Edition, should have beaten Tsolias last start and now meets him on better weight and barrier terms, so if the odds are alright i'll be on him.

Electic at Belmont is very smart, and may be some decent odds as Let go Thommo is taking all b4 him, electic is drawn to get a terrific run either leading or just off them and any rain at all would make him a certainty.

Have to mention my favorite girl running in Adelaide in Miss Starnee, on face value her last start was dissapointing but the extra distance now is strongly in her favour and she very rarely runs a bad race. Worth an interest e/w.

Hopefully get a winner or two here, my biggest go will be on Emooki Street, i really liked his last win.

maverick1993 17th June 2006 12:37 AM

Hi Mr Ed..glad to see you around,,,also glad you like Clang edition..should be winning ,,,had a good day today..seems i go ok come Friday..
Good Luck :)

crash 17th June 2006 03:41 AM

Hi Mav and Mr .Ed. I agree Glang Edition is a good chance in the last in a tricky race. Seems to have been up forever though hasn't he[?]. I'm going the toppy here Rapid Reason (NZ) who scored nicely at Doomben last start and this distance will suit even better. A good exacta and tri race.

I like Parameter and King of Soul in the 1st. Parameter has the edge on speed but will have to hunt for the lead from barrier 8 and Nikolic is on King of soul who has drawn perfectly. King of Soul for me and might be a good exacta or tri race too. Throw in Celtic Trial.

A Little Naughty for R2 is back on a good track and back from doing no good against Starlactic in listed company. Should prove better than this lot with 2 goes at the distance for 2 wins.
Flying Alpha in R5 is a big improver for slick trainer O'shea.
Shysu for the Eye Liner stakes.
Douro Valley or Sphenophyta for the Cup.

Enterprise man in R6 at Sandown is well suited and Irish Darling [at good odds] in R7 might be the finish of the fav. Dirty Denims run of 1sts. The wet track should see home Leroy the man in the last.

Have a good one.

maverick1993 17th June 2006 09:56 PM

Looks like we all had a few winners for the day :)

Have a few in the book tomorrow
Sunny Coast
Mr Beanwater
Tamworth
Victory Charm
Port Macq
Shagny Lover
Ballarat
Marwins Gold..

Should be a winnenr or two in there somewhere ..good luck all.

Mr ed 18th June 2006 04:08 PM

Frustrating day yesterday, nice win with Roadhog but much shorter odds then i expected. Then a few placings that would've made a big day of it if one got up, Platinum Place cost me sheeploads in the running double. Oh well always tommorow i suppose.

maverick1993 18th June 2006 10:41 PM

Crappy day today...Marwins Gold 5th and Mr Beanwater 2nd both running home well but no joy for me....others ridiculous prices..
shocking call of Mr Beanwaters race aswell..didnt know who he was calling..
have a couple tomorrow,,,(yes i know my saturdays are supplementing my weekday exploits)
Horsham
Our Boy Kev ,,,i like this horse fresh,,,has the weight but can carry it and if its wet an even bigger chance..
Narreanandaeandanana
Frisky Frisco,,,,been a real good horse for me,,,suited back to this distance and from the inside,,,will be very hard to catch...

Good Luck all...

and go the Aussies tonight ...will be a long night ..hope its worth it after falling asleep last game and missing all the action..

crash 19th June 2006 07:01 AM

WE LOST ....but only 0-2 which is very respectable. Still in the world championships though due to our 3 goal win over Japan.

Bypassed yesterday and had a day off after a very good Sat. Looks like Sat. was a good day for a few here.

4 for today but not sure about the widish barrier [on-pacer] for the last selection here, although breeding suggests it should handle the distance step-up nicely.

Mon. 19th.
HORSHAM
