Good call, Sportz.

Regards,

Glenn

Sportz 3rd December 2005 03:59 PM

Hmmm, I don't know about that Glenn. The 5 was a bit disappointing. :o

I went okay with my bets on the race though. I backed 5 & 1 for the win, and managed to find the quinella and trifecta as well.

gazman 3rd December 2005 04:53 PM

Kyneton 5 December 2005

EDGE OF GLORY KYNETON R6 No.8
In C3 race today, with some good C3 horses agianst him here. Is two runs back from a spell and this distance suits. Has Zahra on today, who is in form (rode a trebel yesterday) and has dropped 2.5kg from C2 event last start.

I think he should be good eachway value. Will be going 1 x 3

POINT OF CALL KYNETON R9 No.1
Has won 3 of 4 this preparation with only blemish was a 2nd when resuming. Only goes up 0.5kg here from last win (57.5kg) and has carried 57kg in his first 3 starts. Lakemba Gold will be favourite and has been running similar times to POC while carrying only 54-55.5kg, which is interesting.

Early odds have him at $4.6, but sure he will start shorter. Will be going straight out.

Good luck People....

Ouch ..having a break and looked at the results today and saw Lester Cove won at nice odds with a real good trifecta...
Pricess Margaret yesterday aswell...

mad 5th December 2005 08:47 PM

..

Not looking at results is something that has been too hard for me....even when I am "taking a break"..

Going by the radio, Czarboy led them up and just couldn't quite hang on..a game effort and a good ride by the sounds of things...he ended up being my biggest go of the day, coming up in a few of my plans, ..rather than my best winner "Whats The Mail which ended up my smallest bet LOL. That's punting.

Was Legcapa one of yours as well? I seem to remember you tipping that one recently. If so, and you didn't back it today, don't look at the results!!!

w924 8th December 2005 07:30 AM

Sportz ,
I think you are right..the name stuck out to me, plus it had the outside barrier, was a great price, and I still couldn't work out why I felt the need to back it..I didnt in the end..lol

Wyong 8 December 2005

COODER Wyong Race 6 No.10 (12)
Usually races well fresh, but with age seems to be taking longer to come to hand. Last run was incouraging, has Ford on today, so will get a nice run. Has a wide barrier but does run well this track and does have some weight relief from past couple. Should be some value....

luv2bet 8th December 2005 05:57 PM

Tomorrow at Mt gambier, noisy is runnin again. This horse is startin to cost me but am very confident of a big run after last weeks run at hamilton. Hopefully no TOO many people blackbooked it after that run and we get 5-6s for it. It pulled up very well this week is rock hard fit and hopefully will bring home the bacon. I for 1 will be havin a german on it......

Fingers crossed.
Same trainer has a runner in race 1, annods map. May just run a cheeky race at big odds, maybe a little e/w.

Good luck to all, hopefully my next post will be saying "you beauty"

maverick1993 8th December 2005 10:28 PM

I'll have a slab on Luv2 ....good luck :)

Chuck 9th December 2005 07:07 AM

Randwick race 2-5 SILENT SONG was extremely impressive over this track and distance last start, being caught wide almost the entire time, but still winning comprehensively. Remains in the same class and should be too good for these today.

Fridee December 9

BONVOLONTE ROCKHAMPTON Race 1 No 2 at 12:50
Stepping up in distance again this time to the 1500m, ran a nice 2nd last start, does rise two kilos drawn in and only win has been at this track

ROSE ARTIST PAKENHAM Race 2 No 10 at 13:35
Is working her was to a win, ran 3rd when fav last start and think 1400m is her distance. Again Each way

ALVYN THE PURPLE MUDGEE Race 2 No 1 at 13:45
Was my omen on monday (!) at Dubbo, when paying 100-1 he really finished off the race well when near last all the way to finish a 4lng 4th. I'm gunna stick with him - not gunna get 100's that's for sure, meets a few who have had a few chances..... 1 x 2 for me

REAL GRAND PAKENHAM Race 3 No 9 at 14:10
HAs had a few chances to break through and 1750m will suit. Should get a nice price so 1 x 2 for me

PURPLE DANE RANDWICK Race 2 No 4 at 15:42
Disappointing last start, willing to forgive and hope it helps the price - Silent Song is obvious danger and the one to beat. 1 x 2 for me

ROYAL BATTLE MOUNTGAMBIER Race 7 No 5 at 18:12
Won well 3 starts ago at Hamilton, followed up with a "fair" 4th also at Hamilton before a last start donut.... Runs well here and over this distance in same race as L2B's Noisy Princess but I will be on ROYAL BATTLE eachway.

CALIFORNIA LUCK MOONEEVALLEY Race 1 No 1 at 18:35
Has won Last 2, Will run it's bes at 1600m+, which is interesting as it drops back to 2000m to 1600m after winning at 1600m 2 starts ago..... No reason to jump off. Also have XAARLINGTON in the same race. Has been brought across from SA after runing consecutive seconds there to run second at it's last here when ran well but well held (3 lgs) by Vaingtlago. Might work around these two in the exotics.

Good Luck Today People....

Sportz 9th December 2005 09:39 AM

You know what Stix. I thought that race was a bit hard and I don't like betting too much on 1000m races, so I ended up simply putting on a 50c quinella and any2 and guess what numbers I had...... 3,4,6,7.

mad 9th December 2005 01:18 PM

St Huberts eh?

Stuff me these Nags are starting to test my patience. Anyone got a number for a good knackers yard. My stable has a few likely contenders at this point.

One day I will keep a race .... jesus christ this gets tiresome.. and always on a winner at price

mad 9th December 2005 03:50 PM

Best result for me so far = Late Scratching. Nearly got to shaft me but thankfully someone caught it in the nick of time.

The Huckster in the next at Randwick. Why not, what's the worst that can happen?

mad 9th December 2005 04:18 PM

In keeping with the prevailing conditions in most of these Nag races.

AR5 No1 You're Joking.

mad 9th December 2005 04:25 PM

LOL, If only my name was Dugal.

xptdriver 9th December 2005 04:59 PM

Beena ridiculously tuff day... losing a protest with a 6/1 shot( to a 33/1 shot) sorta sums my day up... maybe the nite meeting can help... but I am no expert at Moonee Valley... maybe the territory can save my butt.. ************ reaching for straws now eh? LOL

Can these horses save what has been a crap day
