Quick look at this years Melbourne Cup current acceptances

We still have:

Verry Elleegant
Glory Days
Patrick Erin
Zacada
Humidor
The Chosen One
The Good Fight
Sir Charles Road

Chenille Prince 7th October 2019 11:29 PM

Hey kiwiz
There's also a few not raced in NZ but are NZ-bred
Surprise Baby, Sully & Top of the Range
Surprise Baby easily the best of those three

Chenille Prince 8th October 2019 12:02 AM

Verry Elleegant, Glory Days & Surprise Baby would also be worth a look if they start in the Caulfield Cup
Humidor probably best suited in the Caulfield Cup, failed badly 2017 Melbourne Cup

Verry Elleegant
Glory Days

Surprise Baby put in a top effort in the big one from that wide barrier
Jockey Jordan Childs comments after the race “He ran super. Just had nothing taking me into the race at the 800 (metre mark) but he’ll be back bigger and better next year.”

Verry Elleegant didn't get a start in the Caulfield Cup then never out of trouble in the Cox Plate
Looking forward to her return
