Super 15 Qualifying Finals
 

Good riddance that the last week of the regular season is over. As usual, it’s obvious that some teams cared and some didn’t. That’s why there were five upsets in seven matches. Now it gets interesting. The season comes down to the next three weeks.

Super 15 semifinals
 

The semifinals have a nice symmetry. We have two Australia-New Zealand matchups, one in each country. The semifinalists are four of my five highest ranked teams. The Crusaders are computer-ranked second but had too many close losses, so they will watch the matches with the rest of us.

I will be away after this week so I’ll miss giving you my finals prediction. It’s been a wild season. I’ll see you all again next season.
