Mate, if Cherine runs a place i'll buy a new bottle of sauce, you can have all you like.

Sportz 9th October 2005 04:45 PM

I've had a bit of success with Pentup in the past, but not sure I want to bet. Seems a weird situation.

mad 9th October 2005 04:46 PM

Easy Sportz, they look here to see which Nag we're backing that has a chance, then scratch it. Same thing the Nags do before running, check here and then run second.

funny track..sort of like a good dirt track,,,,, how do you rate that..
Sullivans creek has shortened a heap..huge run last time...but drawing wide on this skinny track is tough ..just ask Petrol head...
will stick with Moggs for about 4 slabs and a tri with number 1/2,3,5 ..all my winnings with my play bets today..doesnt make up for Sigrun another one of my runners who went the carpark route....but i can take a loss...i'm used to it :)

Might be time to go off Petrol Mav - It's just too expensive all the way round.
Cheers
PS the 14 at canberra might throw a spanner in the works.

I'm just lucky Blue Collar Jack can't read. :D

maverick1993 9th October 2005 04:51 PM

they must of done a numbers in the hat draw....the conections of Moggs would be spewing..they still have to pay the bills..

Raw Instinct 9th October 2005 04:51 PM

Reading through the form in that last in canberra looks a real close one I liked Cherine, Then Again & Groovers Mate not sure where to go liked Groovers Mate a tad better if anything

Hard to go off him when he runs so well...just does enough to keep me interested....his run was the best of the 4 ..the run was the difference..
i'll give him another chance....the barrier was the only thing stoping me from going full stake today....he's bound to draw something sooner or later..

Raw Instinct 9th October 2005 05:01 PM

I know how to put a jinx on a horse the only one I backed ran nowhere :) Cherine and Then Again looked as thought they could quinella the race for a second but no ohwell that will teach me for betting on sundays.

mad 9th October 2005 05:04 PM

Wooo Hooo, new bottle of sauce for me. Pity it didn't stay out at 20's though.

maverick1993 9th October 2005 05:05 PM

well atleast i get some Tomato sauce for my beans.... a losing day but you cant win them all,,,bean fun though :)

maverick1993 9th October 2005 09:04 PM

My 2 for tomorrow
*Indrani,,,Cessnock r8...like this horse..very honest and the freshen and the drop back in distance has got me intersted...good jock ..gets alot of ticks..
*Cathy's Gold,,,Murwillimbababah r2..like the above this horse has improved. and is consitent ..should take the sit behind Danefull who will be tuff to run down..small field that i dont like..wont take anything short..

Fingers crossed .. :)

mad 9th October 2005 09:29 PM

Thanks Mav,

I only have the one tommorrow, so i have a go at your fellas:

NR5 Magique Mine

Will be short but should have no problem beating this lot. Well that's the plan at least!

saratoga samchaz 10th October 2005 02:46 AM

Unreal! Blue Collar Jack wins agian and we weren't taking Kilmore here. It's typical. Gotta love Jack though!!

"I don't know. $31.30 makes up for a LOT of losers! Well done. :)"

Would you believe that I have had 48 straight losing win bets in Brisbane on Saturdays?

a change of ratings source for Bris fixed that a month ago...thank God :)

that type of experience can really test one's confidence

Stix 10th October 2005 08:43 AM

Bad luck mate. He's been good to me. Since resuming, he's won 3 races, (2 at more than 10-1) and come 3rd the other time when I was actually keen on the winner Zipping as well.

:(Sorry guys a bit thin on the divvies and results...will have to rethink the old BB system...removed Suave Lady (won Saturday) the week before lol...not sure how long to keep them in the stable...any ideas?

Sportz 10th October 2005 10:13 AM

That's one of those puzzling things. There's no perfect answer. Everyone's different, but I think the common thought is that you should give horses three chances. Mav's incredibly forgiving. He seems to give them TWENTY-three chances!!! :)

Desi 10th October 2005 10:30 AM

LOL! Sportz, I think I will have to be more fussy re selections and a lot more ruthless when it comes to keeping horses on...:D

By the way Sportz, how do you do the italics, bold and underline on the forum posts? Sorry re stupid question...

Sportz 10th October 2005 10:45 AM

Well Desi, just above the text box when you post a reply, you'll see the letters B I U. Simply highlight the text you want to use and then click on B for bold, I for italics or U for underline and away you go. And above those letters, you'll see that you can also change the font size and colour in the same way.

Stix 10th October 2005 10:51 AM

or alternatively......

Or use:
Ctrl+B for BOLD
Ctrl+U for Underline
CTR+I for Itallics

:)

Who was it on this forum said that his Dad only use to got the quaddie/Treble.... cos it's easier to pick winners than those for those to run a place..... Amen....... :(

Oaksnaf 10th October 2005 02:46 PM

I think all-upping each-way seems to come out a winner aswell. But doing the selections in lots of three's.

But bugga Stix lost me money on that one. Hehe.

Stix 10th October 2005 02:47 PM

Sorry.....
