Ashton Agar you little beauty!!!
The most exciting test cricket ever!! Watching a 19 year old batting at number 11 in his first test match (just happens to be an Ashes) and top scoring an putting us back in the game.
You little ripper Ashton...you are what sport is all about!!! How about he opens in the second innings!! |
Yes, the boy done good.. how we like our underdogs eh?
About time the rest of our bats pulled their weight, earned their wages ! LG |
Shiver me timbers!!...out for 98 off a fabulous pull shot that would have hit the boundary and dinted the fence, if Swan wasn't in the way. The most exciting innings in dire circumstances I have ever seen!!
A star is born |
Aleem Dal...will be renknown forever as the umpire who made the worst decision in the history of the game!! It wasn't even an edge but an actual shot that was caught at slip.
Why didn't Broard walk?? Why did Clark waste his two challenges earlier?? One of the challenges wouldn't have hit a second set of wickets. Can't get the porridge to go down this morning. Too annoyed!! |

Gotta love test cricket
I layed the draw at $3.70 2 days ago. I put in a back bet at $18.50 to close my position. When I went last night at lunch, the draw was 2.60. Is now trading at $29 |

The only hope of a draw would be someone digging up the pitch... and odds of 28/1. They are kidding! A draw should be at least 100/1 |
Couldnt agree more dave!
In the 1st test after the start of day 4 the draw dropped below $10, and this was after the close of the 3rd innings! Felt like $101 was fair. I waited until day 5 to take $130, but this test I'm happy to take a risk free $200 now |
Agar unbeaten on 400 runs- Aussies win!!
...and then I woke up... covered in sweat!!
|
You know it got even more ridiculous. At the end of day 3, with Aus chasing 566 or so, I was able to lay the draw again at a whole $11 on BF. Not even close to being an accurate price.
Going to take a close look at Test cricket as a betting medium from now on. |
