A good day :) Backed Arts Success at lovely e/w odds and Bigger than who i thought was unlucky ,,That Crystal thing came out and smashed him nearly knocking him over ,,if the margin was closer he might have had a go...cost me the treble ,,,
teasing / Damnen a nice exacta but i left it alone as Teasing was to short for me..

Scattergun the usual cat,,,but the track was to hard for him..he needs dead or worse and even then he needs miracle..

My ratings last night were done on an improving dead but the track is rated slow,,with the last few meets here on the rain affected its going to be a minefield,,,the inside fresh patch probably the best place to be..
I’d watch the 1st few races and get an idea of bias and even then I’d be taking it easy..

Race 1, The Proffessor looked to be going no where last start and then bang ,,flew home very impressively,,Jb will be awake to him and he'll be in the mix here,,,Bred to appreciate the mile..Red Felt the only other one that rates and will be closer in running .
Race 2, Tedriffic was awfull last start but it was real heavy,,,ran very nicely in the cup at Caloundra on the better surface and that run wins this...wasn't pushed as he was going nowhere last start so he should have pulled up ok..but the track today might not suit.....Take The Plea gets his chance and is a winner this class and distance,,,nicely weighted especially with the claim...Zubere going through the classes is again a good chance especially now the track is slow..
Race 3, Babinda Half is going well and again looks good here,,doubt a price but they might gamble with him on track as i think hes better fresh..,,Black Suit now the obvious as he loves the wet..
Race 4, Hard race this with half the field rated within a couple of lengths of each other....Aladins Lion , Simplest , Briella , Desdomana , Admiral Gherkin ... ,,Looks a stack of early speed ,,,,Thought Admiral Gherkin with no weight could be find the lead and prove very hard to run down and Simplest who gets the inside and the drop on the leaders the other chance,.,but i'd be going wide with the exotics in this...
Race 5, Chevron Island races well here,,,gets back but there looks a nice tempo for him,,(emergency for the Ramornie) so he must be going well.(not sure the track will be all that helpful for him).Borshas Warrior is racing well and hit the line nicely last start,,,they could have claimed here so they must be confident he has the class and he’ll be closer in the run..
Race 6, Went looking for value,,thought Song Of Hope who grew wings a couple of starts ago has a chance but the track is a worry..,,,,Cats Eyes raced well in a harder event last start and has claims,,,,these catbirds are racing well at the mile plus..
Race 7, Doubt Perfect Feeling will get the same luxury as last start where he got away with murder..Grey Stream looked good last start and loves the wet..
Race 8, Another race where a few of them rate close,,,Lennon back on the better surface and in a lower class race a chance at odds,,Kelly was impressive last start,,,,Moglich will find this easier and the distance suits better ,,Decerto the one to catch..,,if theres a bias than Dercerto a special…

tough day at the office,,left the 1st few races alone at Ef to get some sort of idea of the track and missed Take The Plea,,grrr
Did however back Simplest for a nice collect,,,lost on Borshas Warrior (will oneday draw a barrier) ,,Grey stream who did very well ,,,and got something back on lennon who i thought was going to win 50m out..

Sydney was a disaster,,won on Big Alhazim,,but Choican was unsettled with the quick tempo by the winner (huge run that) Stacked was very very ordinary ,,really had everything going for it and just didnt do a thing,,,(cat)
Haadaf was unlucky i thought,,,didnt have any room at all and can be forgiven..Referees the same,,just had no luck at all..

Lucky Diva i think could have got real close to Tesbury with an unimpeded run..(watch the video) still a nice place divie...Hissing Sid was a huge run,,had no room and just had to bustle his big frame into the clear and won well..(real nice exacta here with Davcon) ..
Larson was again caught between horses but was way further back than i thought he'd be,,,,,Benatar lost me a stack,,,really thought i had it won 50m out,,Sensational Toy again a certainty beaten..

Sounds Ready to short for me and will keep,,,..

only a few winning races but a loss overall,,,,,still not a disaster and i'll live to fight another day..

awfull day :( 12 races for me with only the two results , Charming Rogue and Tangalooma ,,,all the rest finished thereabouts which made it all the more frustrating...
