Latest news,,the Wollongong Hawks & the Townsville Crocodiles have placed themselves into Voluntary Administration
Hopefully both Wollongong & Townsville will be part of the next season

Good news for the Wollongong Hawks
Their voluntary administration period has been extended
This should ensure that the Hawks have the best possible opportunity to compete in the NBL during the 2015/16

All a bit of a worry. I can remember when there were 14 teams in the NBL. Losing anymore could threaten the viability of the league as a whole.

More bad news. A proposed return of a Brisbane team for the 2015/16 season has fallen over due to a lack of suitable venue. NBL chairman Graeme Wade said there was no question about the passion for a team in Brisbane, but a secure long-term tenure needed to be found first.
