who keeps backing Abu Simbel ? the donkey never wins but always does enough to think "hey maybe next time" cant believe he was favourite today .

really like Cousin Wal today,,backed him his last 2 starts at good odds and he'll win today at even money,,typical.
thought Athelnoth over the scamper would be hard to beat,,,hopefully some odds atleast..
Dont mind King Benji in the Port cup today...but hes alot shorter than i expected..thought 10/1 but hes come up at around 5's

hopes on Espurante and Grand Reve tomorrow to make up for my habit of backing donkey Maideners..

Hi Guys a fun day at the Coast tomorrow,,hopefully a few winners in amongst the party.

Race 1,
Tough race this one,,a real lottery in fact,,Colless on Air Raid looks some sort of chance,,ran well last start...Unintentional atleast has the best form of these,,raced in an open last start and did well, but the barrier is a concern...not a race to get excited about so i'll be playing around with multis on numbers 3 & 12 and going wide..

Race 2,
Iluminates looks a good bet if you can get a price...didnt have all that much luck last start and was close up to a few smart ones..this is a step back from that and shes looks to good for them...I thought San rico's run last start was full of merit after never being on the track,,,these 900m races are never easy but i like illuminates..

Race 3,
Break the Barrier looks good here ,,we have a very weak bunch of staying donkeys in Qld at the moment,,,most are just class 6 hackers...Break The Barrier can carry weight and has beaten better than this lot...Rapid Reason with a few runs under his belt now the next rater and Duff trains them hard and he'll be ready as he can be for this....(i wonder if old Willy will be backed in to favourite as usual ? )

Race 4.
I'd be prepared to give Flying Alpha a chance here,,this horse never really got clear running last start as the inside barrier really didnt help at all..,,,she'll need some luck in the straight and some speed which i'm alittle worried about but i still think beadman can get her home...Angel Girl is interesting,,could posibly get a cheap lead in this and she'll give alot of cheek at odds,,dont forget her..

Race 5.
Algorithm has been a fav of mine for along time,,you can see the big fella sitting last on the turn and flying home over the top of them,,but with 57kgs ?? a couple of youngsters like Kaphero might be hard to catch..i'd setle on Kaphero if i can get a price otherwise i'll be playing with the multis..

Race 6.
Already on Grand Reve so i'm committed,,,..i'll be playing with Gold edition and whats the time on top with the multis aswell...thought Whats the time a horse that could sneak under the radar and worth something on at odds..

Race 7.
Excited about Cool Front who does look very well suited here,,,,there will be support for Hard To Catch and Masai Pride but if he jumps like he always does i cant see him beating this field,,but he was impressive last start...Hard to Catch the big danger ,,won here last year and has been chasing a smart one home lately...but unders imo.

Race 8.
Already on Espurante who i think has a huge chance,,,,i think Sachenka will be running on but the winners of this race are usually fairly close to the front...Husson Lightning the obvious,,should get the good sit and has been impressive...

Race 9.
Hope i dont need this race for cab fare home...Spur me on looks an uncomplicated bet,,should lead and is very tough...would have been set for this and with the local on board will be hard to beat..Mosso and Maxy Legs worth a look..

r4/8 Ask the Music [e/w] should get some reasonable odds with everyone all over Lucky Deva the top weight. Up in class but has speed and improvement.

r5/3 Dance the Waves has the speed and form for this.

r6/12 Lucky Unicorn has run with some very good company and 3rd. up will go well in this.

Gold Coast is a bookies benefit but I think a bet each for the win on Hard to Catch and Rumbird in R7 might be reasonable bets.

like party charter race 4 in adelaide. Wouldve won last start if it got any luck at all. Got blocked and badly held up and once it got out flew home to get beaten under 3 lengths. Should be e/w odds.

How awesome was Gold edition poor old Grand Reve tried hard but still a nice result ...Illuminates and Spur Me On were very nice (nice multis in the last)

Mr Doyle just scraped home at Ipswich,,,Sydney was frustrating as was Melbourne ....
