Fair dinkum, if it wasn't for field any2 bets, I would be dying here!!!

I didn't give Stable Talk a chance. Perhaps I should have though because it was 2nd to Amianan last start and I rated it 3rd.

Well, so much for that. I was right with the 4, 9 & 5, but the two roughies I mentioned were nowhere. Sorry.

War of the Worlds saved my ass today. Those two longshots $83 and $75 made a mess of it for me. However i can take solace in the fact that the chance of that happening is 1 in 6225. So with 52 Wednesdays in a year i don't expect it to happen again for another 119 years. Sounds so simple doesn't it?

Tommorrow is a new day and we'll get 'em then.

Hope everyone else made a quid today, good luck, goodbye, good night and thanks

Amazing! If Paul Harvey had been riding Antico Mio, I'd say it would have been about $4. Instead, I ended up getting double that.

All in all, a tough day, but I got out of it okay. There's really something to be said for taking those 'field' any2s or quinellas in some of the big open fields.
