i'd say this is data and its results that just correlates with some winners.

in other words the selection method wont "cause" any winners - there just happens to be a few at a particular point in time and they could just as easily drop off.

Its the old case of correlation and causation being mixed up.

a) It's free, the rules are in the thread.
b) I don't sell it.
c) At least I post stats and results rather than just post losing systems.

darkydog2002 30th November 2014 04:19 PM

Hey.
It wasnt a attack on you.

It just means its not for me that one.

I know you dont sell systems and produce from your Data Base very good ones.

I apologize if you were offended but there was no intent by me.

Cheers

Bunbury is about to start - and there are a lot last start winners from Bunbury here! Lets see how they go.

dcpg 4th December 2014 12:28 AM

Gee - what a whitewash here.

6 LSW under 15-1 - and none win!

I recall that the point was last start winner at Bunbury starting today at another venue.

Chrome Prince 4th December 2014 10:02 AM

Last start win at Bunbury, not last start winners at Bunbury.
As Beton says, there is more profit when they start elsewhere within 30 days of that win.
There are also filters regarding distance that can increase profit, but I left it at that for this thread.

Gosh, I forgot that small point - which makes all the difference (at least to the races at Bunbury!).

Nice 14.0 winner at PJ yesterday - Cape Command.

Also a last start winner - fitting the profile set up by the Eva Method, although it drifted from 10 to 15.

Chrome Prince 16th December 2014 07:26 PM

There was also BELLE LA VIE which won at odds of $7.30 at Ascot last Wednesday bringing the POT for December so far to 31.30% using Tattsbet dividends.

When I used to bet in the traditional manner in a betting ring I used to put more on if a horse I fancied drifted after I had backed it.

Hi Speedy,
There was a professional lady gambler who was extremely successful, I cannot recall her name just now, it was many decades ago. She used to pick two horses that were set to fight out the race (the rest of the field was not much competition), and she would do exactly the same.
The more one horse drifted, the more she put on.
Quite savvy, because she was wealthy, so they'd roll in the price a point or two, and roll out the other and she go again on the other. Obviously when the betting ring was full of bookies, she could flutter reasonably un noticed between bookies.
I wish I could remember her name now.

Ascot race 1 today might be worth an eachway bet.
Volkoff is a last start winner at Bunbury and should be eachway odds.
But only a dabble because this is a long term strategy.
She won a barrier trial at Belmont, then tried to race on the pace and failed at Belmont, went to Bunbury and settled well back in the field and stormed home.
She needs to be ridden patiently and Whiting has ridden her in all starts including today. If Whiting sends her forward, it's pretty much no chance.
The race time and sectional was a cracker.

darkydog2002 17th December 2014 11:20 AM

Her name was Rose.
I believe her son became quite wealthy in his own right by doing the same.
Cheers

Volkoff has come up fav. on the WA TAB.
I may lay it if he pushes forward.

Good call here. She won! But she didn't fit in the Eva Method, so I let this one go.

darkydog2002 17th December 2014 07:31 PM

Whats the Eva Method?

Cheers

Chrome Prince 19th December 2014 10:58 AM

http://www.propun.com.au/racing_for...ead.php?t=29291

It's on a different thread and applies to last start winners. Evajb001 added another few rules to it. But it doesn't really apply to this thread as the rules are different.

SpeedyBen 20th December 2014 01:19 PM

A sneaky one today is Narrogin R5 No 4.

dcpg 23rd December 2014 10:56 PM
