Gday Bordi

say the full 1 unit cost of your selections was 100$, and u only wanted to spend 20$. yur dividend would be 1 fifth of the full dividend or 20%

Flexi-betting you get the fraction of the final dividend based on what your outlay is and should of been.....

As X stated if bet should have cost you $100 for $1 (2x5x10 trifecta) and you only wanna spend $20 you only get 20% of the trifecta dividend i.e: $20/$100 = 20% and trifecta pays $500 then you get $100 ($500x20%). Therefore: Out $20 in $100......

All up (Win only) means you pick:
* Horse #? from race 1 to WIN, then
* Horse #? from race 4 to WIN, then
* Horse #? from race 5 to WIN, then
* Horse #? from race 6 to WIN, and put $10 unit

And should you lucky enough to get all four over the line the winnings of the first race go on to the second race and so on and so forth

* Horse #? from race 1 to WIN, pays $2.00, then $20 is placed on next selection ($2 x $10)
* Horse #? from race 4 to WIN, pays $2.00, then $40 is placed on next selection ($2 x $20)
* Horse #? from race 5 to WIN, pays $5.00, then $200 is placed on next selection ($5 x $40)
* Horse #? from race 6 to WIN, pays $4.00, then you win $800 for your $10
i.e. $10 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 4 = $800

Same theory applies for if you choose your selections to place only......

When you go each way then it gets a bit more complex (and costly)..... but stick to the win only or place only or combination of both and leave the each way's until you build your bank and experience ! :D

Parlay is exactly the same principle as an all up except you can have (in the above example) a 4 parlay with a formula 3 - which means to get a dividend you only need 3 of the four to win or place (dependent on what you've picked them to win or place!) to get a collect...... e.g. selections in R1 ($2), R4($2) andn R6 ($4) win the divy will be $16 x each $1 unit you place....again this costs much more than an all-up as it involves multiple "mini" all up bets....... i.e. your bets consist of r1, r4, r5 AND r1, r5, r6 AND r4, r5, r6 etc.... not sure what this would cost (I think it's $12 for 50c unit..... but don't quote me :( )...... maybe some other kind soul could help out with this.....

AND THE FLEXI IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO NSW ACCOUNT HOLDERS !!

Hope this helps !
