This should ensure that the Hawks have the best possible opportunity to compete in the NBL during the 2015/16

All a bit of a worry. I can remember when there were 14 teams in the NBL. Losing anymore could threaten the viability of the league as a whole.

More bad news. A proposed return of a Brisbane team for the 2015/16 season has fallen over due to a lack of suitable venue. NBL chairman Graeme Wade said there was no question about the passion for a team in Brisbane, but a secure long-term tenure needed to be found first.
