Jinxed me :) yep started off well but a few frustrating placings dented the bottom line . Way off in the Cup and had a good go trying to jag one of those jackpot exotics..

thought Northern Meteror a special and he can run some time,,,looks to have some sort of a future..

Miss Pagentry and Heart of dreams both rated very short and won well,,,and Baughurst surprised me alittle as he was back and wide the whole way but he just strode past them..

Brisbane was frustrating,,,Showify a good thing beat and Daunting LAd running a huge race to keep on coming..and thought Regal Gaze did well as he was always a sitting duck dragging the field up to the runaway leader..

I'm already out of my early doubles with the cups ,,,but i did have something on Zipping in the Cox very early on,,i'm spewing i didnt back him in any doubles but i got sucked into the ramblings of Mr Williams when he said he'd just be aimed at the MV cup..
He's in the Cox with a big show as he likes the track,,gives him a few points to compete against the two girls..

I'm on Zipping here and i'm happy with the early bet,,,i think he'll need some luck but i really dont think he'll be as far back as usual
he has always had such bad luck with barriers but this time hes drawn ideally.. He'll be a few lengths closer than usual and that should be enough..
Maldivian the one to catch,,i liked his last run and he looks to get the good run behind maybe theseo or raheeb...Samantha miss will need some luck,,i have her on the inside probably behind Big Mal so she'll need that slpit,,probably got the best jock in the world for this scenario as he always seems to get lucky..
I have the Princess back and wide and she'll be finishing strongly i just dont think she can make the ground up she needs here at MV

thank god for the Cox plate. Nice when you get it right :) i've been going ok in the Big ones so far this spring...Missed in CC but then again i think everyone did.
Walking or Dancing was hurtfull,,huge run as he was never on the track..Mr Baritone did well, and Mr Hornblower is starting to cost me a stack..(perfect ride by colless on the ghetto)

Craig Williams is really struggling,,he used to be rated up there with Colless , Bowman and Nash but hes lost alot of form as has the stable...hes lost all timing as he seems desperate to get a few winners.

Trying to get decent odds for Dark target but it doesnt look promising..I'm might have a spec on Grasspatch Girl e/w...I backed this horse last time but the jock weighed in light,,i've noticed i havent recieved a refund....should i be getting my money back ?? never happened to me before..

How impressive was Dark Target !! this thing can run time and there might be a couple of good races over the east he can run in. The Summer sprints maybe..

Like Rampant Lion in the Sale cup ,,Hes a tough old aaaaaa and will put himself into the race with a chance. Thought Windshear a chance for the exotics ,,hes a real nice horse and i'm just hoping the trainer hasnt wrecked him.

I'm liking Mandela for the cup,,,looked good last run making a stack of ground..should be at his peak now..

add in Crash's two Grand Journey and Queen of Queens and we should have the exotics ;) i'd be putting in Umvulu in the somwhere though..

Race 2 . Caymans is flying and looks suited at Flemo ,,over Dr Doutes and Millbank

Race 3. Light Vision almost a special here,,ran very well when never on the track last start ,,,I like the Jockey change with Largo Lad and i think Olly will ride this horse like a locomotive,,stoke him up and surge before the turn,,hes not a push button type...these the two over Moatize and Newport.

Race 4. Sparks Fly ,,looks to appreciate the 2000m ,,i think Michelle took off way to early last start but she would have learnt a thing or two from that,,i'm happy with the 8.50 i got last night,,,,,dangers Estee / Oval Affair / Tobougie woogie.

Race 6. I'm giving Princess Coup a huge chance in this,,i think shes going very well and just not suited at MV and especially off the slow tempo,,she'll get the good tempo here and the strong crazy whip rider in Froggy who'll get the best out of her,,,the danger is Littorio ,,ok run in the CC ,,but around here is more his go,,,,Viewed running on into the money with Barbaricus and Theseo sticking on..

Race 7. I'm taking on Whobegotyou ,,yes i'm crazy but i wasnt totally convinced his last run and has that tendency to lay in...Larry's never late and Buffet both look suited the distance and i've backed them both at the good odds ,,,

Race 8, . Tan Tat Delago was fantastic her last run,,runs the distance out and is way overs at the 11's ,,,I liked Bernicia's run in the same race had to go wide where as Tan Tat got the inside runs (also like the jockey change).. the distance looks suited and 15's is overs..,,,Ab Fab, Mimi and Forensics the place getters...

Race 9, Publishing 17's likes the str8 6 here ,,ran ok last start but Armold couldnt get him to straighten till the last 50m,,maybe the reason Armolds off ?? dont know as i think hes a class rider but Hall is good in his own right,, the blinkers should do the trick anyway,,maybe he was watching the crowd.,,will get to the outside rail and will atleast make his own luck ,,I'm a fan of swick but Rodd will again have to weave through the pack,,he always needs alot of luck,,and Fritz's Princess and Hot Danish are both honest ,,they dont run bad races but this will be an experience the first time for them here ,,,,hard race and very open with Sunburnt lad and Aichi also classy ,,,i'm going for the value in Publishing..

Race 10, Pinnacles at huge odds looks like getting the good run in this,,,his run was better than Snipers Bullet last start and Pinnacles will be closer and should get the better run,, maybe 20's ??....Falaise is honest and her run with the weight last start was huge,,back them both and go for that trifecta including the fancies..

Race 8, Regal Gaze looks a special,,carted the field up to the leader last start and was a sitting duck for On the Up whos struck some form..,,Barclays the one running from the back the danger...

I knew it was going to be a bookies day out. What a wonderful result for the glass ceiling in the derby. Zoe stuck with the girls and picked the derby after me laughing at her.

I picked the winners for r2 and 3 and that was me for the day.

Yep the bookies would have had a field day ,,,sort of day where you just need that one niced priced winner to get up and you've done ok..

Couldnt get one over the line today,,,was atleast right in risking Whobegotyou but not much else went to plan,,,Princess Coup was awfull all the rest had there chance ,,tan tat was again good from the back..

Rubinda and Regal gaze got up for me today but still well behind,,hoping for a good result in Perth to get me out of trouble..,,

Cant believe arinos opened at $21 for the sprint tomorrow, seen the horse yesterday...it still has 4 legs! i had a good e/w go, will be lucky to get 8s tomorrow. Will go good, is going better than when it won last start and c williams was keen to jump on again. just think it is massive overs and will give it a shake.
