The track in deteriorating track in brissie made things interesting,,,Really made Ready When you Are a special,,and the Kerdem / Sky Biscuit exacta..($24) ..thought i had it with Momentously and Felix ran well..
dissapointed with Hy Dream and Hussta was just way to short ,,
Didnt do that well down south,,,they all ran well without winning,,same as last week,,Sea Battle is flying but didnt cover the other loses..
not a hopeless effort on a tough day ,,
follow stacked ,,just on the wrong part of the track,,

Br1, no1 tearsnCheers ,,, looks way to short but deserves to be,,,Colless rides these babies better than anyone..Jamelden Cat is worth putting in the exotics if your having a go,,and i'd include the Patinacks farm "Rollins" in there on spec (watch betting)...

Br2, no 3 Our Jangles,,,should have given Lasaron a fright last start with some luck,,there doesnt look alot of sped in this which is the only worry..
Perfect feeling the danger,,looks a nice exacta.

Br3, no 3 Song time,,looks to be some e/w value..ran out of puff the last little bit last time and will be fitter and gets the good run..if the track isnt to bad i'd promote Barclays,,,looked real good last time and is a very impresive looking horse that had big wraps and could be coming good....

Br4, no7 Magic Promenade,,,had no hope last start,,should possie up alot better this time and weighted to really be in the running down the straight..My First Affair is going well but the alley is scary,,,Meter Maid goes very well and the likely improver here...Playground Express could be anything but just cant jump with them ,,has a heap of ability and must be driving connections nuts,,,don't leave her out of the exotics,,

Br5, no7 Mr Doyle ** this is his track and distance,,looks a good tempo for him and he'll be the one running on hard down the outside,,,Three Swallows a query,,Somersea Drv is going well but the drop in distance has me alittle gunshy,,Bernado a fav of mine will be in this,,he can really sprint and i have him and Mr Doyle taking off together,,October Sky with the feather weight and likely to go forward could be hard to run down,,this is his distance and worth including in the multis.. Hesashow a good place chance..(watch the track for bias)

Br6, no1 Burdekin Blues,,,should cross and lead ,,,looks to good for these but i'm not keen on the race..

Br7, no8 Bitabiff,,,good win last start and gets the gun run again behind some speed...Tellesecret a model of consistency and Spur Me On whos real good fresh..
Br8, no14 Dillinger,,,this horse can fly,,i'd be watching the track and if they are making ground from the back he'll be to good,,Samui Star the one he'll have to run down..

Can't believe it but it looks like i'm backing that cat Scattergun in the Cup today,,,i suppose you have to trust your ratings and i have him on top,,The likely tempo , the good surface and the long straight will suit him...I have arts Success running a cheeky race with the strong jock on board,,hes the sort of horse that can switch off but i doubt Jeff will let that happen..

In the last i like Teasing over Damnen and Nessuno..

and Birchley has bought Bigger than down in the 7th,,,hes not a time waster and the horse has been scratched a few times waiting for the better track,,gets it here and might be worth a spec e/w..

Didn't mind Friscos Miss in the 4th,,nice win last start and gets the good run..

A good day :) Backed Arts Success at lovely e/w odds and Bigger than who i thought was unlucky ,,That Crystal thing came out and smashed him nearly knocking him over ,,if the margin was closer he might have had a go...cost me the treble ,,,
teasing / Damnen a nice exacta but i left it alone as Teasing was to short for me..

Scattergun the usual cat,,,but the track was to hard for him..he needs dead or worse and even then he needs miracle..

My ratings last night were done on an improving dead but the track is rated slow,,with the last few meets here on the rain affected its going to be a minefield,,,the inside fresh patch probably the best place to be..
I’d watch the 1st few races and get an idea of bias and even then I’d be taking it easy..

Race 1, The Proffessor looked to be going no where last start and then bang ,,flew home very impressively,,Jb will be awake to him and he'll be in the mix here,,,Bred to appreciate the mile..Red Felt the only other one that rates and will be closer in running .
Race 2, Tedriffic was awfull last start but it was real heavy,,,ran very nicely in the cup at Caloundra on the better surface and that run wins this...wasn't pushed as he was going nowhere last start so he should have pulled up ok..but the track today might not suit.....Take The Plea gets his chance and is a winner this class and distance,,,nicely weighted especially with the claim...Zubere going through the classes is again a good chance especially now the track is slow..
Race 3, Babinda Half is going well and again looks good here,,doubt a price but they might gamble with him on track as i think hes better fresh..,,Black Suit now the obvious as he loves the wet..
Race 4, Hard race this with half the field rated within a couple of lengths of each other....Aladins Lion , Simplest , Briella , Desdomana , Admiral Gherkin ... ,,Looks a stack of early speed ,,,,Thought Admiral Gherkin with no weight could be find the lead and prove very hard to run down and Simplest who gets the inside and the drop on the leaders the other chance,.,but i'd be going wide with the exotics in this...
Race 5, Chevron Island races well here,,,gets back but there looks a nice tempo for him,,(emergency for the Ramornie) so he must be going well.(not sure the track will be all that helpful for him).Borshas Warrior is racing well and hit the line nicely last start,,,they could have claimed here so they must be confident he has the class and he’ll be closer in the run..
Race 6, Went looking for value,,thought Song Of Hope who grew wings a couple of starts ago has a chance but the track is a worry..,,,,Cats Eyes raced well in a harder event last start and has claims,,,,these catbirds are racing well at the mile plus..
Race 7, Doubt Perfect Feeling will get the same luxury as last start where he got away with murder..Grey Stream looked good last start and loves the wet..
Race 8, Another race where a few of them rate close,,,Lennon back on the better surface and in a lower class race a chance at odds,,Kelly was impressive last start,,,,Moglich will find this easier and the distance suits better ,,Decerto the one to catch..,,if theres a bias than Dercerto a special…

tough day at the office,,left the 1st few races alone at Ef to get some sort of idea of the track and missed Take The Plea,,grrr
Did however back Simplest for a nice collect,,,lost on Borshas Warrior (will oneday draw a barrier) ,,Grey stream who did very well ,,,and got something back on lennon who i thought was going to win 50m out..

Sydney was a disaster,,won on Big Alhazim,,but Choican was unsettled with the quick tempo by the winner (huge run that) Stacked was very very ordinary ,,really had everything going for it and just didnt do a thing,,,(cat)
Haadaf was unlucky i thought,,,didnt have any room at all and can be forgiven..Referees the same,,just had no luck at all..

Lucky Diva i think could have got real close to Tesbury with an unimpeded run..(watch the video) still a nice place divie...Hissing Sid was a huge run,,had no room and just had to bustle his big frame into the clear and won well..(real nice exacta here with Davcon) ..
Larson was again caught between horses but was way further back than i thought he'd be,,,,,Benatar lost me a stack,,,really thought i had it won 50m out,,Sensational Toy again a certainty beaten..

Sounds Ready to short for me and will keep,,,..

only a few winning races but a loss overall,,,,,still not a disaster and i'll live to fight another day..

How important is it to have multiple accounts !!! today i was on my tab account and noticed abrakadabra was going to race,,,this horse rang a bell so i quickly checked my black book and there it was (spelt wrong) and as i only had a sec to put my bet on i used my tab account ...Here i was jumping for joy till i saw the other tab divies, betfair, Ias ect ...
I have 5 accounts and could have almost doubled my profit by simply having an extra 30secs to log onto ias ect..

Heres two tips for today ...Make sure you always check the days racing !! (i was slack today after an awfull weekend) and have atleast 3 accounts :)

ps,,,How good is King Rex ,,66.5 kgs and won easily ,,him and Newton Rings carry the grandstand but keep performing...

Thank god Scattergun the biggest cat in the world is scratched,,Regal Gaze the stable mate (maybe a lead here) i had rated on top anyway but is a standout now...really should lead and dictate in this field and be hard to run down,,,Kintye Conquest the next but will be giving them a start,,Sir Coup is in the same boat but gets to a distance that suits,,,Running Rich will be close in running and will get first crack at Rega Gaze...
Race 2,
Looks a real good tempo here with a few likely to to try and lead,,a few that are drawn out will have to hunt forward aswell,,,really sets it up for Chevron Isand who should gets the smother at the tail and likes to unleash a finish,,looked real good last start and seems to has everything to suit....Demolir the best of the front runners but looks to get some pressure...King Leonidas should get the smother on the inside and will just need alittle luck,,,,The tempo will suit Phoenix Express who always seems to be running on..
Race 3,
Should be a nice tempo in this,,Mfuwe should get the lead and will enjoy tthe 1100,,hes racing well and at the double figure odds is a nice value bet,,,I have him only a couple of points away from the hot pot Dillinger mainly because Dilly usually misses the start and from the inside he'll be back and in traffic,,hes the one with a touch of class though so Brad will just need to give him some room,,would like him better if the race was 1200m ...Ima Joker rates high and colless the master at finding a possie from wide barriers,,he'll come across and forward and Simplest even with the weight the one likely to again sit behind the speed and will be the one to pounce in the straight....Dillinger will likely be unders for me,,,Mufuwe if at nice odds e/w ,,and play with the exotics with these.
Race 4,
Not keen here,,,liked the way Bruleur won last start,,,maybe alittle e/w at the long odds..
Race 5,
They'll go nuts upfront in this,,,although i hear Diamonds M I is going to go back from the wide barrier,,either way theres still enough speed in this to ensure a strong tempo,,,Desdemona will get the best run,,should hunt up the inside and have the drop on the leaders,,,Momentously suited will be back but has the sprint to finsh over them,,i havent much between these two but Desdemona will have to that little bit less..
Race 6,
Not alot of speed here,,so i went looking for a horse that will sit close andRash Promise should maybe sit behind Rebounded and get the gun run,, Shes racing well and has been chasing Perfect feeling around whos in a purple patch of form,,,Rash promise races well here and Colless rates them perfect over this distance...I'm a fan of Foolish and was all over him last start but he just couldnt stride out on the slow,,,hes a big boy with a big stride that seems to be suited by the 1600 but has he enough work under him,?? Prosecution , Rebounded , Secrets Untold the next best,,,
Race 7,
Good race this,,,Spur me on will lead and dictate alittle up front,,looks the only logical speed and in his prime would be to good ,,isnt the same horse anymore so should provide Grecolo the nice slipstream on the inside one back,,,Grecolo hasnt had much luck lately and gets a good barrier and has the speed to use it,,,BloodnBone should get the good run and races well here the danger...A few of the the other fancies might find the tempo against them ,,,
Race 8,
Not keen ,,,thought Cats Eyes will give you a good run for your money,,,fought on well last start and i think the better surface will suit ,,,the close up to Sams Express a couple of starts ago wins this...

Race1, A good result, Regal Gaze followed the script perfectly , Kintye Conquest ran on well ,, forget Sir Coups run as he was caught wide and had to go forward,,,had a better chance dropping out..,,
Race 2, A good tempo but Chevron Island was a little slow jumping and then always seemed to be on the back foot,,,King Leonidas ran to plan,,but the two up front Tellesecret and Nepro did a great job..
Race 3, Mfuwe was alittle shorter than expected but always was in this race,,ran honestly ,,,Dillinger was always needing alittle luck from back there (good horses make there own) ,,hes still worth following around EF 1200m ..
Race 5, Nice result,,Desdemona started short but there was 2.50 to $3 around early if you were quick i'm not sure where the $3 was but i was happy with the $2.50,,,the Quiny with Momentously was nice ,,,looked an easy race and panned out that way..
Race 6 , HUUUGGE ,,really enjoyed this,,,Rash promise was rewarded for some consistency,,,had the gun run and well ridden,,,Foolish ?? but a good result all round here..
Race 7, Grecolo followed the script perfectly,,,Spur me on maybe went alittle harder than i thought he would which really panned out well for Myagi ,,,grecolo had his chance though ,,,,Myagi is flying ...
