A hard day in brissie ,,but a some value around if your prepared to go e/w,,one of those days where you just need the one good winner to come out of this with your head above water..
Race 1.
Not easy this race...Prince vilhem does alot wrong but has some ability,,Feline Hunter fit and consitant and probably the safe bet,,i dont mind little LAssie Mactavish this horse has trialed well and will get the good run in behind them..should be around 12's so a nice e/w
Race 2
I like Deception bay here ,,this horse drawn out wide but is a backmarker will be the one coming home hard..there should be good speed here with Feelin dandy,,,there will be support with the two toppies but they are both vulnerable,,
Race 3.
Was on Craiglee Emma last start and she didnt get a run at all..has her chance here and has a fantastic record,,she just loves to win and really finds something the last 50m....should be again nice odds in a race with frantic speed up front that will suit her..onedin lion the danger
RAce 4.
Galen looks to good,,,Vietnam the danger but the inside barrier maybe a concern..
Race 5.
What do you do with Scattergun...leave me out of this race..
scattergun 2.20 ready when you are 5.50 mesmorising 6.00
Race 6.
Reigning to Win just looks to good but unders at those odds...,if Ellisa is patient then Snort at odds the one that can blow them all away and the value bet but inconsistant..
RAce 7.
Mitanni and Primus the value runners in a tough race..,,,Mitanni e/w
Race 8.
a real throw the dart job here...evenly rated race...Prosecution will give a great sight in this and at nice odds the value bet..

Not a bad day yesterday ,,Brissie was good, Sydney even but Melbourne was a shocker,,(was confident there to) Adelaide in the bog was a no go..

Craiglea Emma the highlight,,love the way she puts in the last 50m,,and how good was Mittani ,,Snort a good result to (easy exotics) ..

Cent per Cent on track,,looks like i'll be on each and every start..,,and in the Last Flying Alpha is a mare i have alot of time for ,,thought the wet a query yesterday but she won nicely (dam)...some good mares races around for her in the carnival..
Glad i left Scattergun alone,,somethings up there..Galen i thought was tough and still on track...Vietnam ?? needs to be outside horses.
Lassie Mactavish and Deception Bay both ran on and with abit of luck should have run into the money..

Some great finishes in Brissie in an exciting day on the track...love this time of year :)

How good was Otonda last start,,did the work both ends and Decerto just keeps improving,,and then you have the backmarkers that can work off this pace like Rumbird and Rash Promise.....Rash Promise the one that just rates the highest but its not easy to come from that far behind here and win,,,i suggest e/w ,,,a good roughie in this race is Friscos Vision ,,great 1stup run and with the master on board can probably sit just behind the leaders and have the first crack at them..i'll be on both ...decerto the danger

I think Vitese DAne is abit of a cat,,i just cant back the thing...Vetnam looks to short,,,the best Value is Sunday Adieu ... i have Vitese Dane on top clearly so i'll be at the bar..
Race 3,
a few here that rate pretty even,,Mfwe, Sams Express, Topaki Palce and WoodynBuzz with one of the best riders of young horses on board the best bet,,

Cheeky Choice a standout,,,Splashing out the quiny ,,,,,
Race 5,
Gold Edition to good,,,thought Danleigh, Grand Reve and Ghetto Blaster the only ones capable of causing a boilover..

At first glance Hard to catch with the weight looks a risk,,especially againdt the Jackal but Hard to Catch will be more handier and is proven around this tricky track,,he also looks to have improved....the jackal the danger if he gets out and Falaise ..

Even with the big weight Coolroom gets the nod,,,especially around this track ...Nova Star the best e/w here ,,the horse will love the good tempo and is vewry under estimated....Fritzy after the two barrier trials looks the danger..

if the track isnt TO rain affected i'm still sticking with Royal ida ,,fantastic run last start and is the ultimate professional..dont mind him racing alitle wide aslong as he has cover which he is bound to get....Sassbee is going to be suited here,,the big track, the field the likely tempo all are in his favour,,Nadeem is interesting,,the horse has ability and the hayes camp are being very coy,,,,Orange County is flying and Mind Your Head can be anything if he behaves...i think the winner will come out of these 5..
put in 1,17,18 in the exotics ,,,,will be a nice trifecta and 1st4 if you can get it....

A hard day in Brissie Tomorrow,,,not a day i'm supremely confident about,,

Race 1.
A hard race this,,,if Bohiemian Dancer was drawn better i'd be all over him,,he does look the classier horse of the lot,,Motivate finds it hard to win but atleast has the formlines around him to figure in this,,,both these two will be back and i'm guessing with the rail in for the first time in awhile they'll back the onpacers like Lady's opinion and Departure....Can Sir Success run the distance ?? if he can he gets the sit on them,,?? ,,i dont like the race as i'm not sure how the track will play but if i had to have a bet,, Boheimien Dancer e/w

Race 2.
Looks like we wont be getting 30's about Deception bay again..every man and his ****** saw the run,,,he'll be flying late and he has won on this track before although not in this class,,,,Denmarket is drawn poorly but looks to be coming back into form...the toppy Tentocountdown is a consistant tough horse,,fought on bravely last start...Mosta House no weight and drawn nicely has knockout chance,,,To hard this race but if your game ,,Denmarket he'll just need a bit of luck to slot in ...

Race 3.
Rasmussen is a flyer 1stup,,hasnt trialled but that shouldnt matter ,,Colless rates them so well up front ,,i just hope that Sam Samir doesnt take him on because hes a flyer aswell..,,,The Joker should get the drop on these two the big danger....Rasmussen :)

Race 4.
I'm a fan of Cent Per Cent so Kingda Ka has got me interested,,,has a habit of missing the kick though which is a worry....if he isnt ridiculous odds hes the best bet,,,Lassie Mactavish ran a good race last start without any luck...worth a spec e/w if shes silly odds..feline Hunter and Atomic Huss dangers ..

Race 5.
I'm a fan of Son Of Dane,,,hasnt been placed very well imo during his career...He'll find it tough from the barrier but Stathi is riding very well,,,he'll be nice e/w odds,,,October Grey the one to beat,,he flys fresh and nicely weighted...these the two i like in this,,should be able to back both....the Nz horses are alittle hard to rate so it might pay to be carefull

Race 6.
Hard to back Safwa from that alley but she has no weight ?? More kiwis in this than a wednsday morning dole que ,,this makes it hard to line up alot of the form...Omnitrader drops a stack of weight and now ridden by a rider who can rate them alot better up front..he'll be huge odds but will give you something to cheer at 1/2 way down the straight with your $10 on....e/w :)
Brave lancer and Ice chariot rate highly,,

Well if it stays dry i'm on Takeover Target,,hes just to classy ..he'll sit behind Sparky and maybe Magically and then just pounce in the straight...if it does rain then Bently has a show...i think mitani the danger if its dry,,,this horse is flying but i have a therory that Shane might take it easy on him as theres a bigger target coming up and he wont wanna have a gutbuster chasing TT....but if hes cruising again ???

Race 8.
I cant tip against reigning to win....just to good,,,i think Raheeb will appreciate it around here alot better,,and Yasumuri looks a good horse but is flattered by a few wet tracks ?? either way Reigning to win but i doubt i'll be on at that price.....Lasaron looked good last start and ran well without luck,,likes it here and will be nice odds,,,worth an e/w ...

I saw Rasmussens win over 1350 and felt he was weak late, looked a 1200m horse tops. A query over 1200m first up? With Elegant Roi drawn wide & the kiwi Sam, there might be plenty of pressure up front, I felt that Nexgen might round them up, query the jock but looks a blow out race to me.

I think your spot on about Takeover Target. Best horse in race, suited over 1200m at Doomben. Could improve heaps on 1st up run. Also agree re Mitanni. Im keen on him over the 1350m in the 10,000 & the hcp conditions in the Straddie. Maybe they wont go to the well today? As for Bentley, is he that good?? He rates well , but i'm not so convinced, that ratings mob reckon he's the best horse in Aus now, but surely TT has a few on him at his top.

Classy win by Yasumori last start, suited by Doomben here, will have a winning break on RTW at the 200m here, with Beadmans touch. Best of the day.

Another Clanger gets up at nice odds,,sort of bankrolled the losers everywhere else...Picture Book 2nd grrrrrrrrrrrr didnt take the nice odds for the place Drizzle and Oakland Lad a fav of mine ran well but just didnt ping like he usually does..

Arinos should bolt in against this lot, and mrs penny has trained the house down. the d jolly horses have gone exceptionally well now that he has moved down here and training on the beach.

I think vintrack is the one. weighted beautifully for this but i certainly wouldnt write off ya old mate merlot, ill be having something on him for sure. his morph form is huge and give em all windburn last start.
Gold edition wont get any of mine tomorrow, love the horse but just feel apache cat at the 6's is great value and always puts in a bottler fresh. Think barwon express will bolt in again, maybe have an all up. Got an absolute special at strath on wednesday, hopefully pick up some ammo tomorrow.

first time ive sat down and had a serious look at the form for about 6 weeks.

Brizvegas. in race three im leaning towards Ben Hur but with no real confidence. race four Heart of the Citi is racing in great form and im a big fan of this horse. race six. Easy Rocker ive always been a huge fan of this. it really made an impression on me last prep and i think still improving. big bet on him today. hornblower and umaprince 50/50 but leaning towards uma leading all the way. poiym due to win one and i can see his flying finish taking this out.

Mexico. was really ooking forward to seeing Nato run again but not to be. backed wayne's gold last start when sustained a long run only to be outclassed. probably outclassed here again but on last run is honest. my house is on show barry. when it wins im putting two houses on gold edition. when it wins ur all invited for sleepover.

5 horse races is all we have. no tips.... sydney is crap lol

Merlot Now is so good to me he even loses to the horse i'm on,,,,hes been freakish to me where i've been on him for every one of his wins and only one time where i was only on for $10 e/w (think old stix cleaned up on him that day)

Sad to hear about Goldie,,dont think i would have started her if i was worried about her action ect in such a high pressure race....but she was so impressive Tuesday..??

pretty tough race Mav. the toppy has been winning well but i think the weight might stop him.im tossing up between truely beautiful who had no luck last start and cosmic commander who looked like he wannts this trip.
Race 5 to a fault has trained on well and i wont be suprised to see him get the coin again even with the weight.
In the cup, not real keen but have been backing orme so i think ill be sticking with it.
other jolly runner indira morning will take some beating in race 2.

Had first bet on footy last night, st kilda by 39.5+. talk about close...

gday mav, some ripper races around today.

Ive had a big go on mrs penny in the redelva, there will be plenty of speed in the race with at least four that like to lead. Mrs penny to get the gun run from barrier two, sit in just behind em and give em wind burn in the straight. Will be having a little saver on lunar spirit, big test for it here but know the people responsible for backing it in from 16's, lil cashy good value as well.

A fan of cargo cult myself mav, be having a quinella with the other jolly runner stillme, missed the kick last start by 6 and only got beat a couple of lengths, trialled last tuesday without the blinkers and pinged straight to the front and won with a leg in the air.
