Well, I thought 1 & 5 were clearly the best horses in the race. I didn't really give number 4 a great chance.

Didn't end up betting in Race 2. Red Dazzler was RIDICULOUS odds, so I just decided to leave the race alone. Good decision.

What the hell happened in that race??? |
Harryallard's Lane??? You didn't have it did you, Mav. I know you've backed him out in the sticks. Partypooper will be crowing. Another "PPM" selection! :)
Any2 bets with 8 & 9 paid well. :) |
Well, Melbourne has been pretty hard today. This meeting has a tradition of turning up roughies and it's happened again.

I'm really sorry about that. Of course that was actually supposed to be Number 15 Wildly. Number 18 wasn't even running. :o |
Boxed a 12/6/15 ex in the last and bet the 12 win and place. Split fist and third for exacta. Sir Dex didn't disappoint tonight altogether and I had 12/2 but he sure seemed that he could have gotten the win. He seems like the kind that likes to keep it close. He is a better horse since resuming in my opinion. He always tries hard.

Note to self:
If a race meeting looks difficult, and in the past has proven to be difficult, then it probably WILL be difficult again. As I said earlier, the Craiglee Stks / Ascot Vale Stks meeting in the past has proven tricky for punters and it's happened again. A few nice multiples have saved me today, but IT WAS TOUGH! |
