Lucky Lil again had a massive winning day. From 3 tips Lucky Lil tipped the $10.00 starting price winner Mosse Diva at Rosehill. Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day was scratched. With Lucky Lil's record a member cheekily suggested to us that connections heard that Lucky Lil potted it, so decided to look for another race!

Trifectas, First Fours etc.
The ratings found the $278.50 Cox Plate Trifecta with a Box 4, while it took the top 6 to find the $3,682.00 Cox Plate First Four.

Lucky Lil's Tips

Lucky Lil had an absolutely massive winning day. From 5 tips ( Lucky Lil usually gives 3) there were 2 fantastic winners. They were the $15.00 Caulfield Cup winner Dunaden, and Snitsky, which was backed by Lucky Lil's followers from $6.50 at Randwick. In addition, we were a little unlucky with Merlin Mustang $6.50, which finished a close third in a photo at Randwick.

Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day was the $4.00 favourite Lady Melksham, which did the right thing by us and was unplaced at Caulfield.

A tougher day here. However the ratings found a nice $219.70 Box 4 Trifecta in Eagle Farm R3.

Lucky Lil's Tips
Lucky Lil is not looking for horses at short odds and whenever a horse is below $4.00 it is below the minimum odds Lucky Lil would take. Coup Ay Tee, $2.80, ran third at Rosehill. Two tips at odds were unplaced at Doomben.

Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day was Elite Elle which was unplaced at $5.00 at Caulfield. However, these were much better odds on offer than around the expected $3.80.

Trifectas, First Fours etc.
The ratings found a $1,1414.90 First Four (top 5) In Caulfield R3. The Trifecta returned $413.80. There was a $113.00 Box 4 First Four in Caulfield R2.

Lucky Lil is not looking for horses at short odds and whenever a horse is below $4.00 it is below the minimum odds Lucky Lil would take. War Ends started as the short priced $3.10 favourite and ran 3rd. at Eagle Farm. Swift Succession $19.60 and Rangirangdoo $12.00 were both were unplaced.

Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day was a late scratching.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
