Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
There were three bets. At Moonee Valley Sunshine Power won starting at $6.00. It was a 20 units bet. At Randwick Gold Edition, $3.20, a 36 units bet won. Our 20 units bet was unplaced. That made an overall profit of 159 units from an outlay of just 76 units!

Top Rated Specials - Brisbane and Adelaide
There were three bets. At Doomben our 18 units bet was unplaced. The two bets at Morphettville had a total outlay of 49 units, with the best result being Storm Fury, $5.00, which finished third.

There were 27 selections. Odds of the winners, bookmaker/tote were $14.80, $5.00, $5.00, $3.20, $3.20 and $2.10. Resistor, $21.00, also finished second by a short head at Rosehill.

Ratings
From nine races there were four winners on top and six winners in the top two. there was a bonanza collect possible at Doomben R5, with our second rated horse winning. The trifecta in the top four paid $936 on the NSW tote. The first four from the top five paid $7,128.

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
It was close to a massive winning day for our Gold Specials at Rosehill. He's No Pie Eater, $21.00, finished second by a nose. Talk about bad luck! It was a 14 units bet. Shanambah, 25 units, started at $8.00 and also finished second. Our 21 units bet missed a place. We left the Caulfield meeting alone.

Top Rated Specials - Brisbane and Adelaide
Another profitable day. At Doomben we placed 33 units on $3.20 winner Noble Gaze, for a profit of 73 units. Frisco's Lass, 25 units, ran third at $6.50. We had 17 units on our one bet at Morphettville, which missed a place at $9.00.

Horses priced by us at $6.00 to $8.50:
Four bets. The best result was Boncoeur, $8.00, which finished third.

Horses priced by us at $9.00 and longer odds:

Horses priced by us under $6.00:
There were two bets. Anca, $4.60, won. All Value Bets priced under $7.00 are serious winning chances, and well worth concentrating on. These horses are often given better winning chances than many top selections assessed at longer odds.

Eight bets missed out. A horrible day.

There were 23 selections. The best result was the Rosehill R7 quinella from the two selections, which paid $45.20 on SuperTab. Winners were again at short odds. Odds of the winners, bookmaker/tote were $5.50, $4.80, $3.40, $3.20, $3.00 and $2.80.

From 11 races there were four winners on top, six winners in the top two and nine winners in the top four. The Rosehill R7 trifecta, which paid $579 on UniTab was in the top four.

We had one bet for the day. Jim's Party, with $4.00 available won at Morphettville. It was a 26 units bet. Profit 78 units.

We had four Gold Special bets. Okay Oky, a 21 units bet, won with $5.00 available. Profit 84 units. Our other three bets, which had a total outlay of 82 units missed out.

Please note:
We provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
