Gold Specials, Top Rated Specials Make Money in January

Our first day back from the end of year/New Year break and we got the year away to a winning start.

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
A good start to 2007 with one winner from two bets. At Caulfield Sonic Quest, 20 units, won with $6.00 TF bet. That gave us 100 units profit. At Rosehill Ruling Power, 29 units, $3.50, ran fourth. So we made an overall profit of 79 units.

Top Rated Specials - Brisbane and Adelaide
We left the Gold Coast Magic Millions meeting alone. Our two top selections won at Morphettville, but both were below our minimum odds needed and so were not bets.

At Rosehill Chickton, 33 units, eased from $2.60 to start at the great odds of $4.60 and won. Profit from this wager was 119 units. Three other bets returned 73 units so the overall profit for the day was 46 units.

Please note:
We provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
