We rated 10 races from Rosehill and Eagle Farm for 7 Top Four winners including some nice value. We left alone the Victorian Saturday meeting at Mornington.

Lucky Lil's Tips
Lucky Lil is not looking for horses at short odds and whenever a horse is below $4.00 it is below the minimum odds Lucky Lil would take.

Lucky Lil gave 3 tips and once again didn't have much luck with More Than Faith, at nice double figure odds finishing a close second at Rosehill. It paid $3.80 for the place. Rain Drum, from the ratings, won this race starting at $20.00. Moon And Stars, with double figure odds available, was unplaced at Eagle Farm and Hosting, starting at $6.50, was also unplaced at Rosehill.

Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day, Someday, started as a $2.60 favourite at Eagle Farm. It lost, so we were winners.

Trifectas, first fours etc.
In Rosehill R4 there was a $1,902.50 First Four (top 6) and in Eagle Farm R4 a $1,261.50 First Four (top 6.)

We rated 16 races from Randwick, Caulfield and Eagle Farm. Last week the ratings found some good value. This week there were just 8 Top Four winners from the ratings.

Lucky Lil gave 3 tips and didn't have much luck.

Kesampour finished a close second at Caulfield at good double figure odds and payed $4.60 for the place while Just A Perla started at $6.00 and finished second at Eagle Farm. Lucky Lil's other tip, with double figure odds available, Malavio was unplaced at Randwick.

Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day, Politeness,started as a $3.10 favourite at Caulfield. It lost, so we were winners.

In Moonee Valley R6 there was a $1,444.30 First Four (top 5) while the Trifecta paid a dividend of $584.00.

Lucky Lil's 4 tips missed out, including 2 at big double figure odds. Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day was unplaced starting at $3.80. However, Lucky Lil suggested it was a Lay around $2.60.

With horses resuming from spells everywhere we were right to go carefully. On a very tough day for punters we rated just 10 races from Flemington, Randwick and Eagle Farm for 4 Top Four winners.

On the previous 2 Saturdays we provided information Lucky Lil tipped $31.00 TF winner Wish Upon A Star and $8.20 winner Mishani Warrior.

Last Saturday Lucky Lil gave just 2 tips. One was scratched and the other, Late Charge, was unplaced at Flemington at double figure odds.

However, Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day, Sessions, started as the short $2.20 favourite at Randwick and lost. So all Lay punters were cheering!

Please note:
We also provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
