Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
At Caulfield we had three bets for two great winners. Chiack was a $7.50 winner for us. Outlay 18 units. Profit 117 units. Growl won at $5.00. It was a 26 units bet. Profit 104 units. We didn't mind giving back 17 units on Jacqueline Rouge, nor 42 units on two unplaced bets at Rosehill. Profit for the day was 162 units, three units more than our previous Saturday's profit. When you consider our average bet size is only about 25 units you can see how just a couple of good days has put us more than 12 average bets in front.
Top Rated Specials - Brisbane and Adelaide
There were no bets as we left these meetings alone. We didn't like the Heavy track at Doomben after seeing the fields and Cheltenham was a very ordinary meeting.

$7.50, $5.80, $5.00, $4.30 and $3.50.
Ratings
From eight races there were three winners on top and six winners in the top three. A number of collects were possible, such as Caulfield R5, by taking our top selection to win with the next seven in a trifecta for second and third. Outlay $42.00. But the trifecta paid up to $572.00.

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
We had just two bets for an outlay of 50 units. At Rosehill Newton's Rings, a 22 units bet, finished third at $4.60 while at Caulfield our 28 units bet missed a place.
Top Rated Specials - Brisbane and Adelaide
At Morphettville based on bookmaker odds there were no bets. Made Of Diamonds, was a 31 units bet. We wanted $3.20. It won with best official bookmaker odds of only $3.00. However on all the totes it paid between $3.30 and $3.40. Similarly we wanted $3.60 for Savlate, a 28 units bet, which also won. Bookmaker odds were $3.00. It paid $3.70 on SuperTab. Those sorts of odds being offered by Adelaide bookies and any other bookies who just copy their odds must start to make Betfair, Australia's only legal betting exchange, look very attractive. At Eagle Farm there was one bet. Frisco's Vision, 20 units, ran a close fourth at $10.00.
Value Betting System - Sydney and Melbourne
Horses priced by us under $6.00:

Super Kid, $21.00, finished fourth in a photo, beaten by two heads and a short neck. You could say we had more bad luck in just getting one winner.
Horses priced by us at $9.00 and longer odds:
Four bets. missed.
The best result was Blue Lago, $13.00, which finished second.

Please note:
We provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.
In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.
For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.
Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.
While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
