After some excellent winning days a quiet day.

One bet missed out.

Horses priced by us at $6.00 and over:
Seven bets missed out. However, plenty of the horses we price at $6.00 and longer are at double figure odds

Brisbane and Adelaide
We couldn't repeat the previous Saturday's huge winning week - see below.

Horses priced by us under $6.00:
There were seven bets. Shanambah at big double figure odds came close to making it a big day, finishing second by a neck.

Horses priced by us at $6.00 and over:
There were four bets. Lindholme won and paid up to $14.20 on the tote.

Poseidon Selections

We didn't repeat the win of Mac's Tune $35.90 from the previous Saturday.

From the 37 selections the TF odds of the other winners were:
$7.00, $3.60, %1.70 and $1.65.

Ratings

From 10 races there were three winners on top and seven winners in the top three.The $7,019 first four, Doomben R1, was in the top six.

A tremendous day. We had 17 bets at Rosehill and Moonee Valley for these huge winners. The TF odds were:

Show Barry $12.00, Daniel's The Man $9.50 and Spark Of Life $6.50 in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley. It was amazing the bookies betting $6.50 about Spark Of Life.

But that's not all. Tropical Express won at Eagle Farm and started at $12.00. Another big collect from just a few bets at the Farm.

14 bets. Show Barry $12.00 and Daniel's The Man $9.50 winners. In addition, for each way bettors, Beauty Watch $16.00, Honest Politician $11.00 and Dial Tones $10.00 placed.

Brisbane and Adelaide

Horses priced under $6.00:
No bets

Horses priced at $6.00 and over:
Four bets. Tropical Express $12.00 winner. In addition, for each way bettors, Hialeah Star $16.00 and Shysu $10.00 placed.

Poseidon Selections

These non stop action selections again found plenty of winners.

From the 54 selections the TF odds of the eight winners were:
$12.00, $9.50, $9.00, $8.50, $4.80, $4.80, $3.80 and $2.60.

Poseidon Selections win again!

No $61.00 and $40.00 winners like last month, but still another exciting day. There were 44 selections for nine winners. Odds available were:
$12.60, $6.50, $6.00, $5.00, $5.00, $3.50, $3.00, $2.70 and $2.40. Members who use our Poseidons in quinella, trifecta and first four combinations cleaned up.

There were also 23 quinellas from the selections for a profit of 450% with a $109.90 collect on SuperTab (Doomben R5) and $24.30 collect on SuperTab (Flemington R1).

Taking $10 quinellas an outlay of $230 returned $1,342.

Value Betting Method

Our revised betting method had the following results:

Sydney and Melbourne

Horses priced under $6.00:
Four bets. Permissive, $19.80 finished third.

Horses priced at $6.00 and over:
12 bets. Final Express was a $10.00 winner.

Brisbane and Adelaide

Horses priced under $6.00:
Five bets. A Fairy's Kiss won at $5.00

Horses priced at $6.00 and over:
Four bets. Villosa $33.60 finished second and Miss La Tar $27.40 third.

Ratings

From 11 races there were nine winners in the top four. In addition the $1,790 SuperTab trifecta was found at Doomben R5 in the top four. Our top selection also won! The first four also paid $3,528. Our sixth rated horse ran fourth.

So taking the top selection to win with the next five it was possible to collect a $3,528 first four for an outlay of $60.00 using one dollar units. With Flexi betting you could have even bet smaller. So just $12 could have collected $705.60!

Please note:
We provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
